Spot the errors
This 8 1/2'' x 11'' advertisement was surrounding our newspaper this morning. Now Curves usually isn't a place I'd check out, so normally I'd just skip over the ad, but I couldn't get past all of the errors in this ad. Can you spot them?
Well... here's what I picked out that bothered me: - Capitalization of Receive, but not will - Solutiuon - Peolpe - random capitalization/non-capitalization - not capitalizing the "your" in the box - the random/inconsistent exclamation marks - I would have phrased it "30 day free trial on curvescomplete.com- a complete solution to managing your weight." - "For $20 you will receive unlimited access to our facility, which will be refunded after full completion of study."
I'm a journalism major--I am big on grammar. It lacks flow. And there are some serious punctuation issues going on there.
