My inner nerd - skyscrapers

Been up since about 7:30 this morning and stumbled upon the coolest site- it is diagrams of skyscrapers in various cities around the world. I've just spent about 2 hours searching around looking at skyscrapers around the US. In my next life I want to be an architect.

My favorites include:
Fountain Place in Dallas
Albuquerque Petroleum Bldg. in Albuquerque NM
1801 California in Denver
Detroit Marriott in Detroit
Phoenix Bldg in Hartford Connecticut
BB&T Bldg Greenvile SC
AT&T Bldg Nashville - seen in person and is amazing
B of A bldg - NY
56 leonard street - NY
8 spruce street - NY
citigroup center- NY
20 times square- NY
one57- NY
4 times square - NY
Devon Energy Tower - OKC
Leadership Square North - OKC
One Santa Fe Place - San Diego
Cityplex Tower - Tulsa OK
Grand Avenue - Los Angeles

I love to go to different cities and take in the architecture/tall buildings.

And another random tidbit: skscrapers in Spanish sounds so cool. The word is rascacielos.

Hi

Although London doesn't have massive buildings in comparison with the USA, the tallest is currently under construction and you may like it! It's called 'The Shard' - as in a shard of glass.

Mike: Of course you like skyscrapers, the ultimate phallic metaphor, ;-)

Chicago is a great city to view architecture, take a ride on the river cruise. That should be on your travel list, plus it's got all kinds of foods to try.

We don't have any skscrapers in Ireland, the foundations required are impossible for our little Island.

You should google the Beetham Tower in Manchester, thats pretty epic.
