Music and wine under the stars

The Faith Hill concert at the Hollywood Bowl was AMAZING. At first lots of arguing with my cousin. She was adamant we park over on Vine over by The Avalon and Capitol Records. That was more than a mile from the Hollywood Bowl. I was planning on parking at Hollywood/Highland and my cousin never gave a reason to not. Then she plopped me $10 and she said PARK HERE, NOW, so I did. Found out her reason was traffic in the evening because everyone is cruising Hollywood or Highland. We avoided it and got to walk through Hollywood on the way back from the concert and explore, and I realized that as we were leaving.

The venue was amazing. I had heard you picnic at the Bowl, so that we did. I bought a bottle of wine earlier in the day with the help of my cousin, then we went to Marie Callendars on the way for a blueberry cream pie and Stater Brothers for chocolate chip cookies. My cousin and I went in blind buying wine since none of us are huge wine connossieurs, probably wasn't the best wine, but it was one heck of a time. OMG. Everyone was picnicking. Everyone had a bottle of wine or water, cookies, sandwiches, chicken, whatever. Everyone was so laid back and talkative. We were around an older couple that just sat watching the concert, 2 recent high school grads and the guy was taking the girl to see Faith for her birthday, he was saying how he didn't like country and wanted to know the Angels score. I passed my phone to him several times so he could check. There was a mother and daughter who were very cool also and fun to chat with. I so want to go back for another concert- who can beat alcohol, the outdoors, music, and good friends?

Didn't know that the conductor of the LA Philharmonic Orchestra helps write the music for many of Faith's songs (like from Pearl Harbor and others). The first half was the Philharmonic and the 2nd half was Faith singing. I was hoping to hear "When the Lights Go Down," and "It Matters to Me," "Sunshine and Sumertime," maybe "Stealing Kisses," her newer stuff. It was mainly her older stuff- "This Kiss," which was a fun one, "Mississippi Girl," "Piece of My Heart," "If My Heart Had Wings," "Wild One," "Breathe," "Cry," "The Secret of Life," "Let Me Let Go," and "Paris." She also sang "Bridge over Troubled Water." Glad I got to go. "Wild One" was probably my favorite performance of hers. The biggest letdown was probably that she played only an hour or so, but she was awesome. Really enjoyed it.

I heard lots of people say they were tweeting at the concert, so I had to check out the twitter search this morning to see what people said. Most said she was great, and I agree.

Afterward we trekked from the bowl down to Hollywood Blvd. Of course we had to stop by Michael Jackson's star on the Walk of Fame. Still tons of people. Still tons of MJ impersonators. We stopped in a bar where there was no line for a beer before heading out.

We made good timing home. It took 1 hour and 13 minutes to get from Hollywood to my house and that was with traffic on the 101S from Normandie down to the split off with the 10.

Oh, and the Hollywood sign in the background (although a little obstructed, is a nice touch)

Fell in love a little more

With Adele and my boyfriend!!!

MONDAY
- Out of work ASAP to get to his house by 3:15
- Arrive as he was doing laundry, kiss
- He shows me his new digital remote and showers
- I change pants and get ready myself
- He tells me to put on sunscreen since we are taking the convertible
- Leave at 4
- Dinner at Pei Wei - it was pretty good - I wasn't in the mood for anything heavy. Next time Mongolian beef for sure
- Arrive at the Greek at 6:30
- Stack parking... eek... we thought we might opt for VIP, but missed the turn
- Wait in line at will call for tix- a big no-no I know now thanks to Mike's informing
- We get our wine and head to our seats
- Sit, post facebook pics, update facebook status messages, and he confesses his love for me on facebook
- We had THE MOST AMAZING SEATS
- Concert starts late
- Wanda Jackson was the opener - we weren't familiar with her- my dad was - but she was amusing. She did her version of Amy Winehouse's "I Know Your No Good"
- Intermission
- Then the most amazing concert began... it was like being up close to him
Thank you youtube! My seats were better, though!!!

- I had only heard this one 1 or 2 times, but it was pretty great too!
- Loved having my arm around Mike near the end of the concert as we stood swaying to the music. Loved sharing a few kisses during "Someone Like You" - absolutely amazing!!!
- My favorites were "Hometown Glory," "Turning Tables," "Chasing Pavements," "Someone Like You," and "Rolling in the Deep" was one of those songs that is waaaaay too overplayed, but the feeling when it was played was incredible and everyone felt so close.
- She opened with "Hometown Glory" and then the encore included "Rumor Has It," "Rolling in the Deep," and "Someone Like You" finished the show
Loved Adele's retro look - loved her wit and humor
- We didn't say much when we left the concert other than WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
- We go back to the car, answer natures call, and wait for the icky stack parking to clear out
- Mike tries to direct the dumb LA blond behind us to back up so that we can get out, but she was clueless
- I try to fall asleep and manage to sleep until we get off the freeway and are almost at his house
- We get back at 12:39a.m and concert let out at 10:40
- I was the envy of the staff room today at lunch. I bragged. The teachers were surprised I made it in to work. Those teachers on my facebook were showing the staff just what a lucky guy I was. LOL

That concert the other night

The concert the other night at my school was HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Ryan didn't go. Dennis didn't invite Ryan like he said he was going to. Dennis doesn't like big group outings. Dennis is very introverted and more than 2 is a big group. We met up at 7:30 and had to wait 25 minutes in the line to enter. We stood in line talking about school. Mainly my graduation plans and what I want to do. We entered the concert and maybe 10 people were dancing in the dance tent. We walk around the area talking about school, work, and teaching. Then the concert starts at 8:15 with Circa Survive and well, Dennis and I just huddled around watching. When they said we need people to clap, etc. I did that and made a fool of myself mainly to see if Dennis would loosen up. He didn't really. He just kind of stood and swayed back and forth.

So here's a rundown bullet style:
- Nasty mud- it poured and the rain just made everything worse
- You can see the pics below of what we were standing in- shot these photos today, but it was very similar Saturday night
- People were tripping in the mud, losing shoes in the mud
- Whatever some of those people were smoking was nasty. There was a girl blowing her nasty ass smoke that smelled like tire tread into my neck
- Circa Survive's lead singer said FUCK every other word
- She Wants Revenge was boring
- N*E*R*D* was more or less better than the rest
- Yes... I saw Ferrell
- Um... there were some drunk ass people... there was an asian girl so drunk she had her pants pulled down and was peeing standing up, in the rain, in front of everyone, and nobody cared
- Dennis did loosen up a little bit and swayed back and forth

Nonstop weekend

This weekend has been one of those nonstop weekends that I love.

Friday at work during lunch I was playing around on facebook on my phone and I posted a status message on facebook about wanting to go to a concert at Casino Morongo out in Cabazon. It was the free KKGO, GoCountry 105, Stagecoach preconcert. I got a message from Mal, the teacher I'm going to see Luke Bryan and Jewel with next month. She said if she could get a sitter she would go with me. I didn't get out of work until nearly 3. I get a call at 3:30 as I'm about 4 minutes from home and she said she'd meet me there at 5. I play around on the computer about 30 minutes, then head out to the desert. We met at the Serrano Buffet where we ate and chatted about all sorts of stuff- mainly work and school. Such a fun time!!! We decided we had to try our luck at slots. Mal was very conservative and spent $2. She lost it all. My limit was $10. I didn't know Morongo got rid of most of the penny machines. I lost $6 on 2 or 3 different penny machines I did find. I was sad, so went and found a 2 cent machine where my money could go twice as fast. In the first few spins I was up $16. I broke even. I gave up once I recouped my losses.

We got in line for the concert about 7:15 and the doors opened at 7:30. It was in the Vibe room. We made our way in and stood because it was mostly a standing room concert. We stood around and joked about needing a drink in our hand to be like everyone else. We never did get a drink. The concert started at 8. It was really 8:15 or so.

Mal was all over the first act, Emily West, she was all into her depressing songs and was "relatable," and totally cute. Seriously, I disagreed, and told Mal. I said Emily needed to comb her hair, use a tanning bed, and put on some clothes because that spaghetti strap showed a little too much. The second act was Steel Magnolias. The duo was cute and since it was a small venue were able to interact with the audience and tell us about themselves. Their song, "Keep on Loving You" is all over country radio, and was not my favorite, but they had a few others that weren't bad like "Ooh La La."

Now Easton Corbin was last, and they saved the best for last. He has a George Strait sounding voice, which totally melted me. He was young, cute, and totally do-able. I think with his voice and sound he'll be around for a while. My favorites of his were: "A Lot to Learn About Livin,'" "Don't Ask Me About a Woman," and "Roll With It." I went wild when he sang "A Little More Country Than That." He was sooooooo fine and his voice. He seemed a little overwhelmed by the whole thing, almost nervous, soooo cute.

Mal and I danced together, shook our hips, and other stuff all night long.

I kept telling Mal that one of the security people looked like my old barber when I was little. She laughed. I told her I was serious. He was a latino guy with a very distinctive haircut, and was very tall. I had seen this guy earlier and saw his name was Rudy, like my old barber. I was curious, went up and asked him, and sure enough it was. He remembered me. Was a little shocked I had grown so much (it had been 10 years or so), and remembered my dad. What are the chances- I was 35 miles or so from home- just goes to show I see people I know everywhere.

I guess this outing kind of sort of made up for not getting to go to Stagecoach to see Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, and all the others I was wanting to see.

We hugged and took off about 11:30. I got home at 12:10 or so and got to bed about 1.

I was up at 8 to do homework Saturday morning to finish it before going to Disneyland.

I met my cousins at Disneyland about 11:45. They had been there since 9. I hadn't been to Disneyland in nearly 2 years- probably June 2008 or longer ago. It was my 26 year old cousin, 12 year old cousin, 23 year old lesbian cousin and her girlfriend, her girlfriend's mom, her girlfriend's brother who was 13, and his friend. My 26yo cousin's boyfriend stayed home.

It is now $97 for a 1 day ticket to Disneyland. A basic annual pass was $169. I decided at that ridiculous price I'd go ahead and just get a basic pass that would allow me to go 170 preselected days to Disneyland. I added parking, so it was $230 or so, which was ridiculous. So um if anyone wants to go to Disneyland now, hit me up since I have an annual pass... haha

Lots of renovations under way at Disney- street cars being added to Cali Adventure, the water has been drained from River of the Americas, and a few buildings in New Orleans square being redone. Oh, and Captain EO was back. I remember Captain EO now after seeing it. I remember the captain scaring me as a child and screaming as she reached out with her claws. Scary stuff, but it brought back memories. Fun times.

Here's the Captain EO video- it is soooooooooooo much cooler in 3D, though. It's sooooo 80s... I love it!

Disney was very crowded as most lines were at least an hour. We got on Space Mountain first, and my date and riding buddy as she termed it for the day was the girlfriend's mom. We hugged and then got on Space Mountain. This lady was all about taking cute photos together. It was pretty amusing. She was like 50, very white trash, and no attraction. This lady was showing us her tattoos while we were in line for Matterhorn and telling us how her son didn't like them since his mom is supposed to be Christian. We got on 6 or 7 rides in a total of 12 hours. We ate at the Plaza Inn, and it'll be a long time before I eat there again. I despise Disney food. Anyways, the mom was an interesting character belching loud during dinner, eating green beans with her hands. Lots of stopping to take photos practically EVERYWHERE. My cousins are the photo type people who take pictures of anything and everything. We did, believe me. My cousins in total took about 500 photos they calculated. The 2 boys were constantly poking me and we played the poking game in most of the lines. I sensed they were looking at me kind of like they liked me. It was weird. They were cool, though.

It was crazy how many gay guys were at Disneyland on Grindr. For chat I assume (haha... yeah... right), cause unless you have a hotel, what are you going to do at Disneyland? I had chats going on with several guys during the day- one guy who worked there and was 26. He wanted to meet up since I drove alone after I left, and he messaged me on Grindr about 12:30a.m. as I was leaving, and said if he had a place we'd get together. I had 2-3 guys staying in a hotel room and invited me up. I had other random guys message me and ask me what ride I was on. Driving home I just kept Grindr open for the hell of it as I was cruising down the 91 and I had about 12 messages by the time I got home. One guy sent me 4-5 pics of him and his nice uncut dick, his location, and asked what I wanted to do.

We stayed until 12. I didn't get to my car until 12:30. It was 1:05 or so before I got home, and 1:30 before bed. I got up about 9.

Mission: Find sister

My sister's best friend is home on leave from the NAVY right now, so my parents gave her permission to hang out with her despite what happened last month. On Thursday night she was allowed to go out from 5:30-8p.m. Friday night she was allowed to go out from 4p.m.-9p.m. We said that she was to call us at 9p.m. from the home phone, meaning she is at home (and I could see she was home via the caller ID on my cell).

My mom, dad, and I won tickets to see Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons at Soboba Casino last night. This is my mom's FAVORITE GROUP OF ALL TIME (we've seen them 4 times already). Frankie Valli's voice is amazing, seriously. The 4 Seasons? OMG... what hot, buff guys, and great voices. So we enjoy the concert. It is 2 hours of Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons nonstop.

The concert ends at 10p.m. We call my sister, then make our way into the casino to gamble. It was so crowded as the concert had just let out and Soboba is a small casino. My mom, dad, and I each played $10. I sit down at Pot of Gold- 1 of my most favorite slots, a 2 cent machine. I deposit my dollar and I kept getting a bonus play. I eventually ended up with about 10. Suddenly I had 6300 credits. I was thinking to myself does that mean $63.00? Being a little hesitant about losing however much money that was I decided to cash out the ticket and it was $63.29. I was shocked. I played some more on that machine and won $4-5. I spent most of my money there. I'm getting better at sitting down at 1 machine and just playing it. I eventually go to find my mom who is at the 1 cent slot machine and is losing all of her money. I play the slot next to her and win $4.00 off of $1.00. HA. Then we go to find my dad who in 1 hour only spent $2.00 playing 1 slot- some card game. My dad didn't win anything and neither did my mom.

We get in the car at 12:00a.m. and call my sister. She doesn't pick up the phone at home. She doesn't pick up her cell. I get a call about 10 minutes after we left the casino asking what I want. We asked where she was and her responses were vague like "nunya," "at a friend's house," and stuff like that. It wasn't going to fly with my mom, dad, or me. So we employed Operation Find Sister. We didn't know whose house she was at, but only know my sister has a couple friends. We went to the first girl's house and didn't see my sister's car. Second house and no sister. Finally, after the last incident my mom has requested the cell phone numbers of all my sister's friends. We started down the list with who she thought she was with. Her friend Jen. My mom calls Jen's cell phone. Jen picks up. Jen plays the same game my sister did and didn't tell where she was. My mom said that she was outside Jen's house in her car and if she had to go up to the door and wake her parents up she didn't think it would go over well. Jen laughed. My mom hung up and called again this time saying she was Jen's mom and slightly disguising her voice. Jen bought it. Jen said they were at the mall.

We roll down to the mall and find my sister's car and Jen's car there by the JCPenney. Imaginary Boytoy was there too and was standing outside my sister's car grinding up against it with her. Sister laying up on the hood. What a nasty site. I lost my appetite. The boy is not hot. He's a full 14'' taller than my sister and not at all cute. My mom told my sister to get in the car and that she was going home. My parents then finished breaking up the scene. Jen was told to get home and my mom called her parents to let them know what was going on, they were equally concerned and thanked my parents profusely for taking the initiative to go and find them. Sister's boytoy wasn't going to tell us his phone number and sister wasn't going to give it. Sister was in the back seat of the car crying, telling us how we "disrespected her privacy." Imaginary Boytoy said he was parked at the movie theater and wasn't going to cooperate. He ran off and that was the end of that. All the way home my sister and parents talked about the issue while I drove, pretending not to listen, but enjoying every minute of it.

Sister can't see her best friend, sister has lost driving privileges to the train station, and sister has lost her car keys. Boytoy supposedly meets my sister on Friday's at her college. Sis has 1 lab class Friday from 10-12p.m. Sister has been told she will not be hanging around at school all day. The first train she can take after her class leaves at 1p.m. I think I may be more than willing to pick her up from the train at 2p.m....

I was having serious doubts last night she'd make it to her 19th birthday in 2 weeks... My sister tends to be babied by my dad. My mom has not babied her, thank god. I never was babied. I am very capable of doing anything- cooking, cleaning, everyday tasks like making doctors appointments, helping in the family in any way that I can. My sister has the biggest attitude and will only do something if dad asks. When she does do something it is always half-assed. She has to be told DAILY to unload the dishwasher, and 90% of the time there is something left like silverware or the cups because she got too lazy or too tired. When someone calls- say Kaiser calls and needs to leave a message my sister has no clue what to do. She'll write down messages like "Barbara called" and will not get a number or she'll leave a number and say it was the vet when it was really Kaiser. Does she do this out of spite? Who knows. She distances herself from everyone. Her maturity is years behind mine. And with things that she has done to me over the years- I don't feel a bit sorry and think she does need my mom and dad to hold her in line. I honestly believe she is one of those.

Update: My sister's friend Jen is in big trouble for lying about her whereabouts- she told her parents they were going to the bowling alley, not in a parking lot at the mall. Sister's friend has also lost driving and phone privileges. Sister's friend has been grounded for a month. Jen's sister is my age and gave me the 4-1-1 on all of this.

Pat Benatar/REO Speedwagon concert

Dinner beforehand at El Tepeyac, which was sooooooooooooo delicious. I highly recommend the hollenbeck burrito. My mom said the enchiladas and tacos were highly spiced, yet they knew how to use spices well.

The concert was good. We saw Edwin McCain whose name wasn't familiar, but his songs were, such as "I'll Be."

We were up high, but there is not a bad seat at the Greek. Here's vids from the concert. Pat should have been the headliner in my mind- far more hits than REO, and I just enjoyed her so much more. People in the men's restroom afterwards were saying how great Pat was, and they enjoyed her more than REO. I like both, but I was partial to Pat.

23 levels in 2 days

That, my friends, is what I accomplished in 2 days at The Guy's house playing AOC.

The Guy instant messaged me about 1p.m. Friday while I was in Poly sci. He wanted to know when I was coming over. I wasn't. I was going to a concert for my mom's birthday at Soboba Casino Friday night. He said to try and get out of it, though the tickets had been bought. I didn't want to go to the concert in the first place really because The Guy and I usually hang out on Friday nights. We get to Soboba at 7:30 and the Frankie Valli/Smokey Robinson concert was cancelled because of the weather, though the tickets said rain or shine. I was thinking about how I could have been with The Guy and playing a computer game instead of wasting an evening driving for nothing. Oh well... my mom and I gamble and spend $10 a piece just because, to make it seem like the drive wasn't for nothing, so that was fun and made up for not getting to hang out with The Guy. I won back all but $0.10 of my $10.00. PRETTY GOOD. HAHA. They only had 1 of the games I really like to play that I always win on at Morongo, so I just played that one lonely machine and it was worth it. I get a text from The Guy at 8:45, about the time we're leaving the casino. I don't get the message until 10 though because there was no cell phone reception in the area of the casino. I texted him when I got it and told him it had been canceled. I almost thought I'd be going over there, or he'd at least ask me to go over Friday night. I was wide awake at 10:00p.m., but going over there was not on my list of things to do. I came home and vacuumed my room and cleaned the bathroom. My parents cleaned the living room and their bedroom. My sister did nothing. We were trying to clean up because someone- a potential renter was coming by to look at our house on Saturday.

Saturday about 11:30a.m. The Guy calls me. I am in the car driving around town to Goodwill to take a ton of old clothes that were stacking up in the hall away at home since everyone had just cleaned out their closets and plus the person wanting to rent our house was coming by, so I was out. I also had to hit the bank. The Guy calls as I'm pulling into the bank and we talk for a good 40 minutes. We talk about his excuse he has been using with his parents at work about being sick- he stayed up all night Friday night and took his dog for a walk, went to the liquor store, and went up 20 levels on his character in Age of Conan. He went to work for 2 hours Saturday morning and looked really bad because he stayed up all night, so he was able to play off of that excuse well. Then because he was sick his mom said he needed to go home and get some sleep. The next thing I know in the midst of all of this, I'm driving over to his place. We make a deal- I buy lunch and he'll pay for everything else that weekend. I stop and get gas ($3.91 per gallon=$49 to fill my tank, which was a little less than half full). I then go to Trader Joes to get bruschetta sauce, panchetta, and a couple other things. We

When I get to The Guy's place he gets up from the couch and starts cooking. He makes a pasta with the panchetta, bruschetta sauce, and pasta sauce. It was really good! The Guy was saying how it has the restaurant as opposed to can taste. Afterward lunch we laid down for 3 hours to sleep because The Guy was tired. It ended up being 3 hours, even though The Guy only planned for 1 hour because he wanted to play. I really enjoyed laying down there with him. I laid on the right side of the bed, The Guy in the middle laying closely next to me, then his dog on the other side of him. The Guy and I kept tossing and our hands ended up all over each other holding each other. Then at about 3p.m. or so I get up to go to the bathroom and then return to bed. The Guy is laying on his back and he told me to get up close to him so he can hold me and put his leg over me. That felt so hot just to have him holding me like that.

We get up and play finally about 4p.m. or so and play most of the evening. We sat next to each other on the couch playing and going through quests. I got up to level 13 Saturday night- I had to start over on my character because we are now playing on a different game server. When I hit level 12, The Guy said to celebrate we were going to go get some frozen yogurt. I said that was exciting. As soon as I leveled, his brother called though and I knew this would take a while. I called my parents thinking it was 10p.m. and so I probably wouldn't make it home. They said ok. The Guy's brother just got several minor roles in some well known TV shows. His brother is making a new demo tape and wants The Guy's help. The Guy told him to come over sometime this week, but also that he really needs new head shots because the photos he has don't really capture anything or bring out his eyes. The Guy talked and told him what he felt. His brother resisted it, and I don't blame him since he is probably told by his parents as well as everyone else that he needs new photos. The Guy sent him some examples and retouched one of his photos in iPhoto and then showed him the difference and what he was talking about. I also asked The Guy if he could help me with this sort of stuff because while I'm not planning on going into acting, I'm going to need to create voice tapes and possibly may need demos like his brother for journalism. Since The Guy knows how, this will be a big help for me.

The Guy and I then went to get our yogurt. We also went to CVS where The Guy bought 1 energy drink. We go back to his house, eat the yogurt, and talk about his friend Dan who he plays all these RPG games with. Dan's dad is fairly young and is dying. He had some emergency surgery for some random thing last Wednesday and the surgery did not go well. Now all of his internal organs are swelling up due to some disease. The doctors put him on life support and had to open him up and are going to have to leave Dan's dad opened up for the next few weeks until his organs go down in size. Dan is worried because the doctors said this disease is hereditary. The Guy was trying to console him and was telling him to just make lifestyle changes and stuff like that to help. The Guy said we'd go to bed at 1a.m. when we hit level 13, then get up at 5a.m. to play with Dan when he gets off work to keep him company and from worrying less.

The Guy and I again, sleep very closely together in bed and wake up at 6:45a.m. The Guy gets up and takes his dog out for a walk on his bike. They come back at 7:15 and I get up at 7:30 when The Guy is watching Keith Olbermann and is commenting about it. We get up and talk about what bad comparisons Hillary was making about past elections and events like that.

The Guy makes a blueberry smoothie for us with that, all of his health drink concoctions, and Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. The drink was very tart like.

At 8:30a.m., The Guy called his parents to say he was still feeling sick and wasn't going to be able to go out. He wanted to stay home and sleep since he was up most of the night and awoke in night sweats. It was his dad's birthday. I told The Guy that I had no problem taking off and that he should spent time with his parents. He just said he sees them enough.

We start playing AOC, then at 9a.m. are both hungry. The Guy asks if I want to go get food. Then he says he knows I like the company, so he'll go too. Great!!! We go to get breakfast burritos. I go in and order the burritos. The Guy parked and left me off, then turns around and moves the car 10 feet so he can walk into Yum Yum donuts. He bought orange juice and a donut for each of us. I laughed at him as I was staring outside watching him in the car. He was making hand gestures like he was putting on his makeup, doing his nails, talking on the phone, and that he couldn't walk 10 feet and had to do all that extra work of moving the car. You know what though, that amuses me- that's what makes The Guy special.

We get the food, go back and eat. Then we play until 2p.m. when The Guy asks if I'll help him with a special project. He wants to try to install the modifier he got to try to get his RAID card in his computer to work on Windows. He realizes that it is not worth it and requires too much modification. So the next step was to set up a brand new iMac he brought home from the office to play WOW on. We set it up on the coffee table in the living room and let the game install and the computer set up. While this is going on I go to the expensive Chinese restaurant and pick up food The Guy called in. He ordered 2 orders of the delicious shrimp! The Guy gave me his wallet and said to use his ATM card, just sign his name on the receipt.

We have yogurt for dessert and The Guy says I probably don't like it. I never eat it when I'm around him. I probably don't like his food. I told him no, I like yogurt. He said that I wasn't going to be able to be active unless I had my Activia, so I had some. I told him I am not a big snacker, so I don't find myself wanting yogurt or a smoothie to tide me over for something. He seemed to buy that, and that's true.

About this time my cousin text messages me asking if I was at her play at her school. I thought it was the last performance and I was going to try to attend, but didn't feel like going partly because I didn't feel great, but was also having fun with The Guy. I texted her a while later and said that I was sick. The Guy told me to say that- then I teased and said thanks for giving me the flu! (That's the excuse he was using with his parents.)

I go back to his place and the computer is now set up and so is the game. We check out the game on it and realize it isn't great like The Guy had hoped. Now The Guy is thinking he'll have to go out and buy another new computer to get the game to work to be able to see it in all of its glory. We pack the computer back up and sit down and play some more. I am getting a terrible headache at this time and my allergies are acting up. My eyes and nose are watering. I get some Tylenol and sit back down on the couch next to The Guy. I finish up my instance to get out of the first village in the game called Tortage. I kept dying though and compounding that with the headache was becoming frustrated. The Guy took my computer and showed me how to get around that. Afterward we do a PVP instance/roleplay thing. We are doing pretty well and getting lots of quests done. Then suddenly we catch ourselves dying and it doesn't help that The Guy is a very squishy character because he isn't equipped for this sort of damage he is taking. His clothes were cloth and he needed metal armor. In addition he wasn't supposed to be in this zone because his character belongs in another, but to play with me he comes over there. We get in a group with these 3 cool guys and spent the better part of the next 2 1/2 hours killing stuff and getting experience points for it to go up to the next level. I go from level 20-22 because of this. The Guy doesn't like to die in the game and gets mad when he does. He was blaming it on me because I was the healer. I was trying my best though. I was on top of it for the mostpart, trying to do my best despite my headache, and I was not having a lot of luck. He kept dying and then we were practically yelling at each other. I was getting very upset and he was too. The Guy and I died a couple of times and it was cool that the guys hung around for a good 30 minutes just waiting for us to get back from the beginning of the instance- where we had gone since we died. It was 12:00a.m. at this time and I was getting ready to leave. The Guy asked I don't just stay the night because it was late. I said that he needs some alone time and he quickly interrupted me saying "no, you're no trouble at all and I enjoy having you here. If I need alone time like I did Thursday night I just tell you." I said ok then and called my sister's cell phone to let her know. She still had it on so I just kept it short and sweet. "I got sucked back into the computer game I was playing with my friend, so I'm going to stay the night since it is late." My sister teased me, then said ok.

The Guy and I laid down on the couch. I was laying at his feet, but he pulled me into his chest and I laid on his chest. I began playing with his dick since it was right there. I was stroking it through his shorts and then finally reached in. I sucked him off for about 5 minutes or so before we made our way to the bedroom. I lubed up and he put a condom on. I l was on the edge of the bed doggy style while he began fucking me. Then we moved and he laid down on me and fucked me. We moved to missionary style and my head hung over the bed, which wasn't that comfortable. Then he pulled me back in the bed and I played with The Guy's chest. He jacked my dick while doing this, which was hot since there was tons of lube on it and I began squirming. The Guy laid down on me again doggy style and began licking my back and neck, then licking and gently biting my ears. Then he did something new, which drove me wild and sent a tingling through my body. He inhaled through his mouth after he licked and it felt soooo incredible. I was seriously trying to get out from under him because it made me feel ticklish, but felt soooo good and I was having a hard time standing it. I sucked The Guy some and then he moved his fingers into my ass and began fingering me while I was doing that. It felt so strange and I was having a hard time with it at first and was a little uncomfortable, so that didn't last long. We ended by laying on each other and letting our loads go onto each other. I sat on his chest and let my load go and then he did the same. We were both so full of lube and cum we had to shower. We got in the shower, cleaned up our bodies, washed our hair, and put conditioner on. When we got out, we got dressed, and went into the living room where we watched a movie.

We went to bed finally at 1:30 or so I think. The Guy played AOC with friends and I fell asleep on the couch at The Guy's feet. We went to bed and didn't talk, which is unusual. We were both so tired. We laid very close again. I slept all night and only woke up when we both repositioned and were laying with our arms around each other about 15 minutes before we actually decided to get up. We got up at 8:15. YES!!! WE SLEPT IN LATE!!! HAHA. The Guy told me after we got up I am welcome to stay in bed however long after he gets up. I said I knew that.

We went and played AOC where I got up to level 23. We ran the same instance we did with the group of guys last night with The Guy's friends this time, who were now level 25 or so since they stayed up all night playing. We were about 5 levels ahead of his friends all day yesterday. I left at 10:15a.m. or so because I had some homework to do. While I know I could have hung out at his place and done it, I know my parents were wanting to see me, plus we were taking my mom to lunch for her birthday (which is tomorrow), so I came home. I get about 2 streets from my house and realize that I didn't have my computer or Packpack (that's my backpack's name). I left it at The Guy's house. I called him, asked if it was there. He asked where else it would be, so I turned around and drove back to his house. I get to his place, rescue my packpack, then turn around and go home. We hug each other and I thank him for the weekend and buying all the food. He was trying to give me a guilt trip about why I didn't stay around longer, how I probably hated him, how he was forcing me to stay, how I don't care about anything he does for me, etc. I said you know I'd stay if I could and left. Then we smiled and said bye to each other. I got home at 12, 2 hours after I started.

We watched tons of movies this weekend including: "While You Were Sleeping," "Kinky Boots," "King Arthur," "Casanova," and a few others that I can't recall. We also watched our trusty "Law and Order." It is trusty because it is always on and there are always at least 30 episodes in The Guy's TIVO.

Random thought/idea!: I have a cousin who writes erotica/romance novels for a living. I was talking with her the other day about how she comes up with her ideas for her sex scenes etc. I am not making up anything that happens with The Guy. Everything I write about is true and exactly what happened. I was talking about how writing porn would probably be fun because it is your fantasies and things like that. She said yes! She encouraged me to do that. But this conversation got me to thinking, what about turning some of the stuff I write about with The Guy into erotica/romance? Could I actually get published? Sure, I'd have to elaborate and describe the sex scenes, our bodies, etc. Haha... not really going to try... It was just a random thought from my life!!!!

KEARTH 101 and Miley

I was driving home from school today and heard Jim Carson on KRTH 101 talking about how you can download the KRTH 101 jingle as your ringtone. I checked it out and well, I love radio, but I'd be embarrassed to hear this everytime my phone rang unless I were a KEARTH 101 DJ.

In other radio news because we know I'm a radio nerd, Hollywood Hamilton is the new DJ on KBIG 104 in the afternoons. I liked him on KEARTH, so I'll probably be listening. He has a hot voice btw.

I babysat my little cousin last night. Do you know what was on TV last night? My cousin is 11 years old, so you can guess what we were watching. HANNAH MONTANA! I swear, I'm her biggest fan! My cousin has told me everything about her. I sit there with her, we're both sitting on the couch watching Hannah, completely engrossed... well... she is. I'm not, usually. But last night the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert was on, and being the singer I am, had to belt out a few tunes. Little cousin asked me to sing with her, so I put the subtitles on the TV, which was no easy feat. So for 90 minutes we sang belting out Miley Cyrus tunes.

"When the night says hello, yeah, ready to go, turn it up, turn it loose, get out on the dance floor" or something like that...
My favorite was of course "See You Again." Little Cousin told me many times that I was a bad singer and she tried to take my fake microphone away several times. Once she finally stole and I gave it up, I took my shoe off and used it as a microphone, which totally cracked her up.

My older cousin texted me at 11:44 last night as I was driving home and asked "you're just being Miley?" It totally cracked me up. She heard. Guess I'll have some explaining at Easter.

And an observation about the concert? There were a lot of teen guys in the audience of the concert...

Limo to Margaret Cho

LOL... there's sooooo many good titles for this post, but so much to talk about.

I have been like a rockstar the past 24 hours with a limo, good food, drugs, my entourage, and good music.

I get off work yesterday and have a text from my cousin asking me if I want to go to Disneyland. I said "we'll see," but didn't give her a definite answer as I was just getting home and had a few things in my mind from work that I needed to deal with before I could think about going. About this time around 3p.m. I get a call from The Guy, which totally perplexed me. Friday, date night, and I get a call from him. We chit chat for a moment and then he asks if I want to go to see Margaret Cho with him, his boyfriend, and Jeff. Zach was supposed to go, but was sick. He told me to meet at his place at 5. I have a few errands to run since I was suddenly going out for the night, and run those. The Guy calls asking if I can pick up Jeff since he is mostly on my way. I said sure. That made me a little late getting to The Guy's at 5. It was a pretty cool drive with Jeff. We found stuff to talk about, which doesn't always happen. We talked about the new DMV licenses and how long it takes to get your license now in the mail.

We pull up to The Guy's house and there is a limo outside of his wing of condos. Jeff jokes there's our limo. I said with some hesitance, in a funny way, "of course!" Jeff and I walk in and the party had started long ago. All you could smell was pot. I run to the restroom and everyone takes a few hits, then the entourage heads out. We all have on our jeans and black zip down jackets. It was pretty hot. I was kind of stunned this whole time- we're taking a limo to a concert? Who does this kind of stuff? Apparently The Guy did this a few months back when the 4 of them went to another concert.

I sit next to The Guy, which is just because of the order we got in the limo. He suggests we move seats so his boyfriend could sit next to him, and that was alright with me. That put me in the DJ seat. I got to control the radio. I found 1043 MYFM and they were playing Katie Perry's "Teenage Dream." We had a serious discussion about Katie. We give her a lot of props. She has really catchy songs, which is why we like her. Her music is also so happy. A lot of the music pre-Katie was sort of a downer like some of Pink's stuff came to mind in the discussion like U+Ur Hand- we like the song, but it's a downer. Katie's stuff is all happy.

The Guy and Robert trade seats with me to adjust the air in the limo, which we were having a hard time doing. Then I started really having a blast. They asked me what each song was that was playing on MYFM. I am the musical guru- I know it all. The Guy asked who was playing as it came on and I told him it was Daughtry's "September." He told me how good I was. Apparently there was a RDS display to show in the limo. I told him I was. I said I was like Shazam. We talked about the 90s movie Shazam and debated whether it was Sinbad or Shaq in the movie- I said Shaq- and after googling it discovered I was right, just like Shazam. I identified and kept everyone abreast for their listening pleasure of what was playing- we heard Pink's "Raise Your Glass," "I Ran," by Flock of Seagulls, "Photograph" by Nickelback, Santeria, "Live LIke You're Dying" by Kris Allen, and some "Stay" by Lisa Loeb.

We were also belting out the songs as they came on, and the rum and coke/Pepsi in the limo helped all of that happen. Jeff had 2 half rum and half diet cokes and was wasted. We talk about how we need a sunroof to stick our heads out of, and we were so having an AbFab moment where we thought we might have to just use the emergency exit as a sunroof.

We get to The Wiltern about 6:45 and we are let out by our limo driver. How fun was that getting out and being stared out like "who are we?" That was fun. We decided we were The 4 Boys if anyone asked.

We wait outside the Wiltern for a few moments, but the line was sooooooo long and Jeff and I had to go to the bathroom so bad. He flirted with the cashier at Dennys to let us use the bathroom at Dennys. It was hilarious in the bathroom- Jeff used the urinal and SO I went in the stall to do my business. I didn't close the door and Jeff felt he needed to protect me from any guys who wanted to rape me- that's how I knew he was gone. LOL. My teacher bladder as I call it was full and I was taking a really long time, and Jeff was becoming increasingly worried that I would be raped.

We get outside and The Guy and Robert are about to walk in. We walk in and make our way to the snack bar for the M&M bag cookies and to the HRC booth for = stickers and our Legalize Gay shirts. We get those, make our way upstairs to our seats, and then Robert and I head to the bathroom. While on our way he asks me about an acquaintance we both have in common and we talk about other random friends. SOOOOOOOO FUN AND COOL THAT HE KNOWS THE SAME PEOPLE I DO. The people he knows are much more of the party people and very much on the party scene, but I know them as I did go to school with them. We go get more M&M cookies, then head back to our seats. I get back to my seat and Jeff wants me to go to the bathroom with him. I go with him and he comes out of the bathroom telling me how worried he was I would leave him and he'd have to "rely on the kindness of strangers."

We get back to our seats and the show is about to begin.

The opening act is pretty funny- John Roberts opened and he wore the wig seen in this video and used many different wigs to tell basically the story of his life and all the different types of girls you meet. It was pretty funny.

Oh, and the Margaret clip above was just at the point where it was kind of getting funny. The joke between The Guy and everyone the rest of the night was about the olive oil squirts and bombs it makes. We were all laughing pretty much the entire time. The ending was good- she had the LA Gay Men's Chorus on stage with her singing one of her songs. Yes, Cho sang and played the guitar, and even sang country. She has a good singing voice.

Back in the limo we decide to just head home. Again, I am Shazam, and I provide all the song titles. We heard some Hella Good from NoDoubt, Apologize by One Republic, and a few others. The Guy's boyfriend has a high voice like mine, but dang, he can belt out a tune pretty well. I'm jealous. The Guy talks about what a stoner he has become and how he is constantly high. I believe it. He talks about pot brownies, lollipops, and all sorts of other things he can now buy.

We get back to The Guy's place about 11:30. We are all hungry and he orders 3 pizzas from Round Table while encouraging everyone to do pot with him. Some did... let's just say some people there were higher than a kite by the night was over, some people were really touchy, others became very feely. I had some good and interesting conversations with everyone I do have to say. I enjoyed discussing all of the celeb gossip with Jeff- are Jake and Taylor meant to be? It was a sight... everyone was still friends today. I shudder as it was not a scene I really like to be around mainly because pot possession/being under the influence of pot could cost me my teaching credential just like that. I was so exhausted by the time things were winding down as it was about 2:30a.m. and didn't feel like driving Jeff back to his place- his actual house- not where he was when I had picked him up earlier in the afternoon, so I sort of told him I am spending the night. I just laid back on the couch and closed my eyes. I felt really spacey trying to fall asleep- I think it was just me being uncomfortable about the whole situation. I felt bad for not taking Jeff back to his place, felt bad for staying with The Guy, and other stuff like that. Gah, guilt. Part of it was my fault for being a little adventurous...

Robert has to go to work at 5:15 and I move my car from behind his so he can go to work. I fall back asleep until about 9. It was 11 or so before The Guy began stirring. He had awaken about 5:15 to do the dishes, light candles, and say goodbye to his boyfriend. I just laid on the couch and dozed.

At 11 or so we got up and ate some leftover pizza. Jeff and The Guy played WOW while I played on my phone. We watch some "Law and Order SVU" and "House." I had never seen "House," and let me say I HATE IT. House had some good 1 liners here and there, but he's the kind of guy I just want to slap because he is so unproductive. The Guy was taking hits all day. It was pretty relaxing. The Guy's boyfriend gets home about 5 and plays WOW for a few hours before everyone decides they are hungry. He says he'll make chicken enchiladas, so The Guy and he take off to the store to get the ingredients. He makes them in the kitchen while everyone hangs back watching "House." The enchiladas turned out pretty good. He used a green sauce, and a can sauce instead of red sauce. They were mostly gringo enchiladas, much different from my chicken enchiladas, but they were good. La salsa con tomates helped make them good.

After we eat it is 8p.m. and Jeff wants to head out. Yay! The Guy gives me my Christmas gift- its a little box- I'm guessing an Apple TV, but I'm not sure. It could be anything. What we do know (Jeff, Robert, The Guy, and I all determined) is that it was bought on amazon because it was professionally wrapped by amazon. We discussed our lack of wrapping abilities- well, except for me. I can wrap. The Guy said everything he orders on amazon this month regardless of what it is is being giftwrapped because it helps put him in the holiday spirit, and for $3.99 each item it is a good investment. LOL. I wish I'd brought my gift for The Guy since he had mine. I'm sure we'll meet again soon and I can give him mine.

Jeff and I head out. We talk about AUX ports in cars and how some have them, some don't. As we are heading through Fontana the traffic in the fast lane starts to slow. It slows a couple times and I get nervous as people may have not been paying attention. I see a car swerve from the fast lane to the center divider area to the right lane. This guy was all over the road. I was 3 cars behind him. We follow him for about a mile, then Jeff says he'll call 9-1-1. I'm glad he did. Apparently the guy was probably very drunk and we were not the first to call. We get a call from a CHP officer as we were driving and he asked where we were because he was using us, who eventually passed the drunk driver for our safety to gauge where we were so he could go pull the guy over. I was surprised though how far down the freeway the officer was in relation to where we were when we made the call. I guess that's simply because of who was available and in the area, but I can assume they got the guy. I hope.

I dropped Jeff off and told him I had a great time, then took off. I got home about 9:30.

Great convo, great friends, true friends, good memories, and a night of laughter. What could be better?

My friend from school on facebook commented how my life is so boring after I said I was going to go see Margaret Cho in a limo. lol. I love how my life is so unpredictable. I have those moments sometimes where even I don't know how my life will be in 5minutes because I may be suddenly doing something totally different and going somewhere different.

And so completes a successful weekend with The 4 Boys!!!

Some thinkings of me

I have had a crazy ton of songs stuck in my head lately - here are some - not all of them are necessarily quality or favorites, but I keep hearing:

--- LOVE THIS SONG

 --- An amazing song

They were pretty dang good in concert last night ---

- Saw Brandi too, she was very good

Saw No Doubt a few nights ago at the same concert...

Also been super busy with work pulling 8 hour or more days - I've been acting principal, teaching, testing coordinator/tester, on nearly every committee... all because of my admin credential

Had the most amazing weekend wtih my partner. Love him more and more. I was thinking the other day how I truly love and share everything with him, and care so much.

Bought a Chromebook the other day. It is fun, but can't access the portal for my online class. Ended up giving it to my dad in the meantime. I have a feeling one is in his future.

He's still alive

Chatted with The Guy earlier this week. He was having a really tough time. Josh is back with Jackie. He called me, which was a nice surprise. We were playing phone tag that morning. He tried calling me 3 times only to get a busy signal. I'd pick up the phone only to get a busy signal. I texted him a few minutes after and he got the text 4 hours later. He was worried Josh had tried to text him, but didn't; maybe he had the same problem. I called him today when he was probably at the gym and said I'm around if he'd like to talk, hang out, or something this weekend.

I had been wanting to wear this awesome sweater pictured below since I got it from my aunt at Christmas. It is a blue Hollister sweater. I was sporting that and a pair of blue Lucky jeans. My boss at the high school commented me saying how great I looked in this sweater. I got 5-6 other complements on it today. That was a little surprising, but awesome. My mom also noticed. She asked when I got that sweater since she didn't remember it, how great it looked on me, and she said it 4-5 times in the course of an hour or so.

(Please ignore how messy the room looks- I didn't make my bed ((shame!)), but the papers you see on the dresser are my tax forms... so it is organized)

On another random note I'm usually pretty mellow while driving, but today for the hell of it I had the highway I live off of all to myself and decided to floor my little car up the hill to see how high I could get the RPMs up. I got it up to 7,500RPM at about 65mph. That was fun. At least it wasn't pouring rain when I did this and the roads weren't slick, otherwise I wouldn't have done this.

And here's something else I've been doing this week... subbing... I was at one of the schools I rarely get to sub at on Tuesday and had a GREAT TIME. I love the administration of that school. The AP or Principal walks you to the classroom, tells you if you have any problems, not to hesitate to call them. Then they come and check on you periodically to make sure everything is going well. I was amazed by one class I had. We had a great discussion about a story they were reading on a family with 14 kids- 8 of them were adopted from different backgrounds (no, not the 14 kids born to that crazy woman who had the artificial insemination over in Bellflower recently haha). In the book it had an opener activity to the story about whether or not you want more brothers and sisters, younger or older? I started telling the kids about me- I have a younger sister and I'd love a younger brother maybe that I could do guy things with and share mutual interests like cars. The kids were so excited- they RAISED THEIR HANDS (GASP!) and were telling me like "I have 5 older brothers and I hate it because they constantly make fun of me for being daddy's little girl and getting good grades." All of the kids were so respectful and took turns. All of them wanted to share their sibling horror stories or their stories about how great lots of children are. They marveled at how I only have only 1 sibling- most of them were from huge hispanic families. Never have I had a classroom read aloud or discussion go as well, but also kids who were so respectful. I left the teacher a note and told her after school that these were a great group of kids.

Tomorrow night I'm going to a concert at my school with Dennis and Ryan. Should be fun. I'm not really familiar with the bands. I know one of the bands and vaguely know their songs, but we're going more just to hang out. Hopefully it isn't raining since it is an outdoor concert. I guess I am tackling the whole go to more concerts thing... haha

Doin' My Thing

Just got home from the Luke Bryan concert with Mal. What an awesome night!!! We met at a shopping mall about halfway between her house and my house, and a direct shot to Pechanga Casino.

We were running a little later than planned, but still hit up the buffet. Thursday they have a special where it is only $7. We were worried everyone would be taking advantage, but they weren't. We got right in and seated. There was all types of cuisine. There was ziti, prime rib, mac and cheese, enchiladas, empanadas, and tons and tons of desserts.

After eating we made our way to the theater for the show. The theater was really nice- much nicer than the venue at Casino Morongo. We had fun sitting in our seat and chatting about family, work, and taking facebook photos. We had perfect seats in row p.

Jewel performed first. She had a cute, almost ditzy, yet still intelligent side to her. Her voice was amaaazing. She opened with somewhere Over the Rainbow. I tend to think Jewel and that whiney folk singer. She was much better. Some of her stuff I wasn't in to, but she was pretty good, and not as whiney as on her CDs.

Next came Mr. Luke Bryan. We were both standing and singing (only because 5 really tall girls stood in front of us). We were singing along to "All My Friends Say," "Do I," "Doin' My Thing," "Fishin in the Dark," "Play Something Country," and "We Rode in Trucks." We were bumping, grinding, and all sorts of stuff on each other. Fun times! She isn't as big of a Luke fan as I am, but she was along for the Jewel portion of the show, and stayed around for that... haha.

Such a good show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and then after, usually everyone is in such a hurry to leave the show. Lots of people started crowding the stage and Luke seemed in no hurry to leave. He started from the far left and worked his way over to the far right signing autographs. Yep, yours truly got his autograph on his ticket. Too bad my ticket was a big crumpled 8x11'' paper, but that's ok. Oh, and I got close up pics.

We both agreed $5 was our gambling limit- that was all I had in my wallet. I put $5 in a penny slot. I won $.60 on a penny machine, then played 2 more tries and was down to $4.80. Then I spun again and got some genie or something who 18x'd what you won, or some really odd high number like that. Next thing I know I have $35.40. I played 1 more spin and cashed out since I lost. $35.40 was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!! Mal got $9.90, so we were both winners.

And the winnings more than paid for my night:
Concert ticket: $20.00
Buffet ticket: $7.00
Tip: $2.00
=$29.00

Ideas about the future

Things I plan to do...

- Ask Mrs. C and Mr. P for letters of recommendation tomorrow
- Find a good short story- any story- to use to create a screenplay. My only problem? I can't think of a good English short story. Most of the stories I'm thinking of are Spanish stories. It doesn't matter what- the only prerequisite is that it is a short story. Ugh. Must search and find. I can't think of anything in my literature classes I've read either. Any ideas?
- Go to a concert. There is a big concert at my school this weekend. Dennis and Ryan invited me to go with them. Well, I guess that's a part of my goal on going to more concerts (and with friends!)
- Smoke less! Haha... had to throw that in for Closet and Dan, as well as the readers who commented or e-mailed (Ryan, Dunjin) me about that. I don't smoke- I have done it on a handful of occasions, but it was a party, people were being crazy, and so I joined in. Haha

This brilliant idea came to me at 3:40a.m. this morning. I was sound asleep, but woke up suddenly when this thought crossed my mind:
- Create a blog for some of my writings because I find that a lot of the positions I'm applying for want writing samples that have been posted in blog format on the internet. I can post some of the stuff I've done in journalism classes (I have a really great sports investigative piece), an editorial or two, a couple product reviews, and writing samples from my classes.) I haven't really written anything in Spanish however that I can think of worth putting up there- most of that stuff is movie or literature responses.
- Also create video blogs with that- use my video camera, iMovie for editing, and piece together some video blogs (thus showing my editing skills and creating demo tapes somewhat, or at least an on camera presence, which is good)
- One idea is that I have written a couple product reviews, so I want to get my hands on the products again, post my reviews, but accompany it with a video review and demonstrate what I am talking about.

Don't worry... this blog is going nowhere... I have too much fun writing about my life and experiences.

Gaga over Gaga

Blogger buddy, and friend, James and I headed down to San Diego for the Lady Gaga concert, and man, it was AWESOME!!!

We made an evening out of it, which was fun. I decided we needed to check out Hillcrest, the gay neighborhood in San Diego; and I know from friends that there were lots of great small restaurants to try. We went to a Thai restaurant, Amarin, which was really good. The fried rice with beef, and the coconut soup with chicken and mushrooms was also tasty. It had an unusual flavor, and I mean that in a good way. Lots of fun there chatting, being overtly checked out by an older guy twice, and of course good food.

We cruised up the 163 to the 8 and over to the 5 freeway to get to the San Diego Sports Arena- really it was just a few minute jaunt over there. I am glad we left when we did and headed over there. Everyone else was headed to see Lady Gaga, too.

Standing in line was interesting. The line wrapped around the building and there were 2-3 different lines that seemed to do the same. Lots of interesting people in the crowd. Lavish outfits, guys in gold pants (EEEW), lots of hot gay guys, lots of girls, and yes, all ages.

We got in and took our seats just a moment after the opening act began to play. They only played for about a half hour. Semi Precious Weapons was their name or something. After they performed there was a little intermission where we were exposed to some Michael Jackson, my favorite, James... haha!

And well, what you all care about, Lady Gaga! Totally amused by the stuff that she said. She asked us, the fans, several times if she thought she was sexy because she thought we were. Never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. The show was close to 2 hours!!! She talked about how she does the long shows for her fans because they are sexy. She talked about her monsters. Lots of other stuff... Here's a review about the show... enjoy the pics!

Here's some youtube vids of the concert...

Oh, and notice all of her costume changes...

Lunch with the ex and craigslist
Still nobody wants to go to Stagecoach with me. I asked the ex g/f today at lunch. Seriously I will go with anyone who hits me up on the offer. My parents already said I can be gone the entire weekend... dang. Oh well. Ok... I'm over that now. I'm not going to complain about that anymore on my blog.Had lunch with the ex girlfriend at Olive Garden. It was fun. We basically broke up because she didn't want to ruin our friendship. She is one of 2 girlfriends I've ever had... kind of sad... like my other it only lasted for 3 months. Same as with my first g/f. We talked for about 2 hours and got caught up on each other's lives. Lots of laughs. Lots of good conversation. Posted an ad on craigslist the other day. Got some promising and disturbing responses. One guy responded within about 5 minutes who posts an ad practically everyday on that site. He sent a face pic and a body pic... it was not a pretty site. I'm not trying to sound shallow, but really I want people who take care of their body and care about stuff like that. Got another response from a guy with a football players frame... he is up for just jack off and make out, and wants to meet up soon. He kind of has the bro-ho look going on (typical 909/951 deal... dirt biker, Havasu guy, piercings, the Metal Mullisha, Skin, and Famous Stars shirts, short hair, hat). He doesn't have the piercings going on that I can see from his pics, but we'll see. He has nice hair, eyebrows, and lips though. Got a response from a 30yo guy about 40 miles away who was pretty hot, but that is a bit far... we'll see.Looking forward to dinner... hash browns and I'm barbecuing some steaks.I also need to go to the gym...UPDATE: Got another reply for my ad on craigslist and one of my coworker's boyfriend's just replied to my ad. I AM NOT LYING. The pics look like him and his e-mail reply name is his name. I just checked his myspace and the photos are him. WHAT DO I DO??? The guy is not hot at all, so we don' have to worry about me replying. But now I'm kind of wondering... tell coworker, who happens to be one of my best friends, stay out of this, say nothing (which would probably be easier since it would mean coming out) or what. They have been going out for 2 years nearly. This is going to be on my mind for a while... I can't believe this.

Got caught
I got a call from a friend of mine in Arizona this afternoon. He moved there with his mom after graduation since they couldn't afford California and whatnot, though they lived here for years, it just got to the point they had to leave. His dad still lives in the area and his sister is going to college here.Anyways, he is a cool guy. He is the total oppositve of me... he doesn't think about something before he does it, he is very extroverted, not shy, very open about everything (which I am after I get to know someone, but I'm not like him), and very caring/friendly toward everyone. I've known his mom for about 5 years, she is a very patriot, flag-waving, American. She is a devout Catholic. How this guy is so different than his mom, I'm not sure (his sister is a lot like her mom). I am good friends with his sister also. Love the whole family. Anyways, this is the guy I went to my first porn shop with. When he turned 18 at Christmas he bought his dad a Playboy magazine. His cousin was turning 21, so somehow this kid at 18 managed to buy his cousin a 24 pack of beer. His mom practically had a heart attack both of these times and got really mad at him. I think he does it for the attention/shock factor, but whatever, that's his deal. His mom knows that he spends a lot of time on the computer looking at porn, she knows he has a HUGE porn video collection, she knows that the guy gets totally wasted every weekend because there is nothing to do in Arizona. She doesn't approve of it, but the kid's dad gets a kick out of it, laughs, and supports his son. His mom doesn't like it, but accepts it, then just does the motherly thing and goes into I don't approve... Anyways, the kid called me tonight because he wasn't supposed to be home today and he was. His mom got home from work and the kid was in the kitchen laying on the counter jacking off naked. He didn't hear her come in, he got caught. Why he was on the counter I don't know. But I of course liking guys had to have all the details and pried my way to get a good visual of what he had going on... what he was doing... what he was thinking about when stroking it... stuff like that. Found out he was laying on the counter nude and had a porn vid going on the TV.His mom came in, screamed, then began yelling at the kid, telling him that he shouldn't do that, how sinful he was being (not for jacking off, but for being nude and next to the glass door wher ethe neighbors could see), how he was messing up the counter, how he could have broke it, how his man juices could contaminate the food... and so on.He was basically wanting reassurnce from me. He was telling me how embarrassed he was, how he does this all the time, how his mom disconnected his computer and stuff like that, and how he was so pissed. He wanted to know if I had ever been caught jerking off... what I did... Everytime I jack it is a risk. Our house is old and not every room has a lock on it (only the bathrooms), so when I stroke I have to be careful and listen when it sounds like someone may be coming in my room, but usually ti is not an issue. I just have to be ready to put my thing back in my pants. Sunday nights I know to jack about 3p.m. since Sunday night is laundry night and my dad will be walking in my room nonstop to put clothes away, though I usually end up stroking while he is, I just have to be careful and I am. I've had many close calls. My pparens have walked in on me almost before and if they've known, they haven't said anything. Then the conversation changed... it was suddenly how often I jack off... so I said twice (when I get home from work or school before everyone is home and then usually about 8:30 when I go into my bedroom after spending the evening with the family so it's not noticeable I'm running into my rooom to take care of business). Then where I jack off... what I look like nude... how big I am... am I cut or uncut... lube... what I j/o to... I had to lie (I couldn't say guys) so I said the porn where the guy is f'ing the girl and that sort of stuff. He asked to see some of the pics I have of guys and girls together, so I'll send him some. I had to ask him the same questions back of course... how often he does it, size, stuff like that. I said that if he was so curious about me, we should compare in person. He said maybe after we go to the strip club. He has no interest in men whatsoever that I can tell... I've pried befre... nope... no luck. I'm usually pretty good about getting and finding out this info. But we're cool with each other... we exchange porn all the time, he is good at keeping stuff secret and I am too. His mom is like my mom in soooo many aspects like when it comes to letting him do things and stuff like that, so we can relate. It was good conversation though. I learned lots.

Preppy look and matchmaker
Got dressed this morning... wore a brown buttondown shirt I usually wear beige khakis with, but wore navy blue jeans with today. I realized that from that I get a totally different look... more of a preppy look. So I ended up wearing my new navy blue Vans shoes, the brown shirt, and navy jeans. Decided also to change my hair to make it look more preppy. My coworkers noticed. They liked the change. Got lots of complements on it today from the tutors and students. Everyone thought I had a date tonight... unfortunately no. Principal would have probably thought this was too casual. 2nd period was an assembly. BORING. Didn't have to go. Actually what happened at the beginning of 2nd was pretty funny. There is a varsity football player (sophomore) in one of the classes I tutor and he is going out with a senior. He can't go to prom without someone older, so she asked him. His girlfriend came into the class asking where he sat today, the teacher told him, then she put a shirt on his desk that she made using fabric paints and asked "J. will you go to prom with me?" He was embarrassed because she asked, but it was cute. The teacher said that he had to respond and he couldn't just say "yes." He said that he wasn't ready to ask her out, but with the help of us tutors and the teacher gave him ideas. He then asked me, since I'm the only guy tutor to do him a favor and go find some flowers for his girlfriend, then he would surprise her at the end of 2nd period. He wanted daisies, but the teacher told him that's funeral flowers, then he said yellow roses, again that was a no, so then the teacher and him came up with pink and red.Since I didn't have to be there for the assembly and I was trying to help annother man out I left and I walked to the flower shop, got 9 red and 3 pink roses like he wanted. In the meantime the teacher and girl tutors helped him make a card for the girl sayinng "yes," which he put on her desk along with 3 of the roses at the end of the period. He was lucky in that he got in to her classroom while they were coming back from the assembly and could do that. Then the girl was surprised when she came inside. Then he was outside with a sign saying "yes" andn the rest of the roses at the end of the period. The teacher brought her class all over to watch since it was the end of the period and they all ooed and awed as they hugged and kissed... it was very funny/cute high school relationship deal. This guy is a totally flirt and he is very soft spoken/has the cute boy look deal going on.Thursday lunch meeting went well... Loud Mouth Coworker was particularly upset with me. I took the photos of her running away from Frankenstein last week on the field trip, prinnted them out last ight, and brought them to share today. I said I was going to use them for blackmail. I did. Passed them around, showed the other tutors, the other teachers. I got her good!!!

A&F and Hollister in 4th grade???
I saw my cousins (not really cousins, just a weird family relation and we call them my cousins) at the mall today coming out of the Hollister store. Yes. The Hollister store!!! They're in 4th grade!!! They were there on Spring Break with their mom and little brother. We stopped and talked for a few minutes. I was surprised to see them since we live 2 cities away, but apparently our mall is so much more upscale than theirs. Aren't they a bit young for that? In 4th grade aren't you still wearing stuff like Limited Too, Quiksilver, JCPenney, Sears, Mervyns, or whatever... not Hollister or Abercrombie and Fitch. Brand names were never an issue in elementary school that I recall, middle school they were a little more, but high school brand names meant something more. Now I guess that since Hollister or Abercrombie weren't open in the area when I was in 4th grade, that might be a reason I never wore anything from there or something. All 4th graders may wear those 2 brands now, but I kind of doubt it. Hollister and Abercrombie didn't open until I was in 10th grade or so, I'm thinking, so maybe that was just a part of my childhood I missed out on? The kids are in 4th grade, they're still growing, they go through clothes fast, so why is their mom, who I think is a nice woman spending so much on clothes they'll outgrow in a few months? Hollister and Abercrombie are supposed to show all of your curves and it's for high school/college kids/people with the figure to wear them... not elementary kids still developing. For the mostpart middle schoolers I think are still wearing Quiksilver/Roxy/Forever 21/Hot Topic, but not Hollister or A&F. I'm going to be honest, I'm not checking my little cousins out, but you know, just seeing what they're wearing, and I can tell them they really shouldn't be wearing Hollister or A&F. They don't have the chests for it, they're really skinny, the clothes look big on them, not showing off anything like the clothes are supposed to.Brand names are no big deal to me unlike my cousins. I find it hard to believe that in elementary school brand names like my cousins are wearing are that important. Honestly. I own stuff from a lot of brand name stores like GAP, Express, PacSun, and Aeropostale. I also own stuff from Sears, JCPenney, Macys, Kohls, Target, and Mervyns. I don't really care where I shop as long as I like what I'm wearing. I have nothing against brand names or non-brand names. Brand names don't matter to me, I am not trying to say there is anything wrong with people who want brand name stuff. I'm just saying I think my cousins are a bit young for Hollister. My little cousins always have to be in on the latest trends. You all know by now how I despise cell phones, but whatever, I don't care. I'm not paying for my cousin's cell phone bills, so I'm not going to say annything. Anyways, my cousins just got their own cell phones, they got picture messaging, text messaging, and they're only in 4th grade. Since when do 4th graders need cell phones? I don't buy that the kids need cell phones in case of emergency. They're in elementary school. They're not high schoolers who may be involved in a billion activities at school and need to have a phone to stay in contact with parents. My cousins have wanted cell phones since kindergarten as I recall. Their little brother got one too. Then they have to have the latest hair style... right now it is repulsive black hair with blond streaks. They have their own PALM PILOTS. They each have a computer in their room. They are spoiled beyond belief. A lot of it I think is their mother, who I like very much. She's smart, witty, and about 40, but she's cool. She wears ROXY and doesn't have the figure for it... she's big, yes. She has a big ROXY sticker on the back of her car. She has lots of ROXY purses and stuff like that. I think a lot of it is she wants her kids to fit in and herself too, plus the fact that she does spoil her kids and give them EVERYTHING they want because she is giving them the childhood she never had. THEY'RE ONLY IN 4TH GRADE!!! They're spoiled. They get everything they want. They also have those long fake acrylic nails, they get pedicures on a regular basis, they go have a massage whenever their mom does, then wearing clothes high schoolers/college kids wear. Can you believe that??? 4th grade... 9 years old maybe wanting to act like they're 10 years older than they really are??? I know that there is such an emphasis on kids growing up, but I mean really, do they need to grow up this fast? Can't they be kids? Play out in the dirt? Ride bikes? Play out in the street with friends? Play basketball, baseball, softball? SOMETHING!!! They're kids!!! I find it completely disgusting that my little cousins are wearing Hollister/A&F and that they're growing up so fast.

Breaking out of my shell
FIRST OFF... IT'S RAINING... IT'S POURING... I love the rain. I am sitting here typing this watching the dark sky outside, then the rain pour down. It's soooo nice!!! My mom is home and she lit the candles on the TV and end tables to add to the ambience of this. Now back to the regularly scheduled blog:I am quiet, yes. Most people who ask will say I'm shy at first, then I'm pretty open and know afterward I'm not shy. Its just how I am. I have no problem however in a big group or handling a big group like at work. Its no secret I've ventured waaay out of my comfort zones in college to get to know people. I talk to everyone and really try to get to know people. Unfortunately giong to a commuter college nobody wants to hang around on campus or develop friendships further, othre than just the friendship that forms in the classroom... so its like you have friends for a quarter, then you don't.Apparently the me trying to venture out has flowed into other aspects of my life: work, relationships with professors, and with friends. I'm no longer seen as that little innocent boy, who is perfect and will never question authority. Today 3 of the teachers I tutor for were in the library at school with their classes working on projects. We were all just talking about each others lives and stuff like that. The teachers will talking about how great we are and how I'm very social... moreso than before and that it's cool.Mr. P said "so Mike, what did you get in your journalism class?" (The journalism teacher called me a smart ass). I said I had no clue, but hopefully an "A." He laughed and said that he doesn't think I would because I argued with the teacher and got called a smart ass. I told him about the teacher making that comment the day after it happened because I wanted to know his reaction. He laughed, thought it was funny, and has been calling me Mr. Smart Ass since. Then 1 of the other 2 teachers knew about it, the one who knew laughed, then the other one, Mrs. C who didn't know was so funny... her eyes became huge and asked what happened. She was shocked. I told her the story and she said she can't believe the professor said that and that she doesn't see me arguing with a teacher. Somehow the conversation became ALL ME. Loud Mouth Coworker chimed in and said Mike isn't as innocent as you think. MY GOD. My heart just sank. It's not because I'm trying to present myself as the innocent, perfect person at work. No. You can think whatever you want of me... I don't care what others think of me, though at work I'd like to think I present myself as a good person. I was more concerned with the direction the conversation was going. I knew what she was going to bring up. ISLA VISTA. The trip I went on to SB last month, got a little tipsy. I shared the story with my coworkers and Loud Mouth just had to bring it up. Thankfully Mr. P knew about it already because I tell him most everything in my life since we've known each other for years. He was cool with it and said he thinks it was funny. The other 2 teachers didn't know about it and both wanted to know. So of course I told them. I just said it was a one time deal. Mrs. S said she was surprised, that she likes finding out all the dirt on me, she was surprised that I would drink in the first place, but that I was breaking out of my shell, trying new things, so it was ok and a part of growing up. Mrs. C, who I've only known for al ittle over a year said "I'm just stunned. My view on you has changed... I was drinking underage and the fact that I'd risk setting a bad example for the students." I said NO... it shouldn't... it was a one time deal... there are a lot of things you don't know about me that may surprise you, but I'm still the good, helpful, tutor. I don't bring my personal life into work. I just tell my coworkers stuff and then they unleash it, but I tell them because we're friends and we talk about each others lives. It has never interfered with my ability to do my job. I am just growing up and I need to explore things. I'm a good son, worker, friend, student, and whatnot. The thing you don't know about me is that I do challenge authority when appropriate like when a teacher gives me a bad grade, if I don't agree with something I have no problem throwing my opinion out. If I don't like how an employee of somehwere treats me and I brought up Kaiser and their nurses, pharmacists, and stuff like that being rude that I have no problem reporting them. I told her that I have no problem telling someone I got bad service. When I had all those problems transferring colleges, I had no problem fighting and working my way up the chain of command to try and get credit for what I did. I deserved credit for basic classes that transferred. Its just me. I am not afraid to stand up and give my opinion, fight for what I believe is right. I think that is a side of me that is finally coming out in college. Now I just need to get over the shyness when first meeting people. Then Mr. P chimed in that I was defying teachers and stuff like that, then how I was challenging my English professor constantly last quarter. I did. No lie. I did it rightfully, he was grading me based on his personal opinions, not the fact that I had my opinions and I justified my opinions appropriately. This stunned Mrs. C and Mrs. S. Mrs. C said she can't believe I would do that because I have parents who are teachers and I know what they have to deal with, so that I would treat other teachers/professors like this. I said that it was a PROFESSOR, that my content in my essay was excellent, Mr. P agreed (he read my essay beforehand), it was all based on bias and so I was right and had a right to stand up for my opinion. Of course alll of this had to come out on the day I asked all 3 of the teachers for letters of recommendation. I actually think it could be good that some of this came out about how I am as a person, how I am not afraid to challenge authority/stand up for my beliefs, so that may only help my resume. Mr. P was joking and saying that he'll have to change his recommendation he wrote for me. No worries though. Now I just have to worry about what Mrs. C thinks... heh. I'm not too worried though, I mean I am a good guy overall.

KAISER SUCKS
But you probably already knew that. They overbook appointments, they are rude, they really are in the healthcare industry for the money. I am not going to vent about my frustrations with Kaiser as an organization, rather their appointment system.I hate how you have to call their NEW main call center in Mountain View for an appointment so you're on hold longer, since you're not just dealing with a local pool of callers. I hate how their new automatic system almost makes it impossible to get through their phone system. I hate how they want you to do everything online and doing it online is not pleasant... I just tried... 12 steps to schedule a non urgent appointment 2 weeks from today. It's like you have to plan to be sick... 2 weeks in advance... I hate how if you want an appointment that day you have to call at 7:00a.m. and then you might be seen about 7p.m. that night. I hate how you have to go to urgent care or emergency if you want to be seen without an appointment. When you go to urgent care it is a $15 office visit and $35 for emergency. Then you have to wait 3-4 hours usually in either.I just called for a measly appointment because the dang allergist reduced my allergy shot medication and it is killing me. I've had at least ONE allergy attack everyday for the past 2 weeks. Usually in allergy season I'm perpetually runny/congested... not this year and I attribute that to the damn doctor. I usually only have allergy attacks after mowing and weed whacking. NOT EVERYDAY. I don't like her... she is a young Ms. Think She Knows It All. Doesn't the lady who was helping me know that I only go to the doctor when I'm in extreme pain/misery and so when I want to go, I want to go. I've been miserable nostop for the past few weeks. I did call finally tonight and got through to someone in their call center, but they sure got a mouthful from me. I try to be courteous on the phone and understand these people probably deal with a lot of other angry customers, but Kaiser makes it so damn hard, that you can't help but be angry. The lady was trying to convince me to go online and I told her NO... 12 steps to make an appointment was insane and then it wouldn't be for anytime soon. I don't want a username just to go online so you don' thave to deal with me and spend 30 minutes trying to figure out how the fangled system works. MY TIME IS VALUABLE. You're paid to deal with me. You're paid to help out a customer. I then said that if she doesn't help me I'll report her to her supervisor (they give you their badge number and name when you call), so I had no problem doing it. It's amazing how far threats go... I got help immediately. I didn't get an appointment since they don't have anymore for today and I can't book for tommorow. I got put on a waiting list for an appointment tommorow, but hey, I got somewhere.

Hooray for Hollywood...
Went to Hollywood today. Took the train from the IE to Union Station in LA. Then took the subway/metro to Hollywood/Highland. Took 2 hours total. In car it would have cost probably $35.00 with gas. It was $30 total for me and my mom to go today. It would have taken 2 1/2 hours driving and would have had to find parking and pay for parking etc.Train rides to and from Hollywood were nice. Told my mom about my plans to go to Mississippi this summer. No objections. In fact, she said that I'm close enough to Oklahoma I should visit my aunt and cousins there. Then she even said I should go to Louisiana just because it is such a beautiful state. I told her I was planning to fly, not drive. She said that I could drive if I wanted. That's an idea. A halfway cross country roadtrip by myself could be cool. She also said she was looking at flights to Oklahoma since she is sure she'll probably have to be back there this summer and it is as if she planned my trip to Mississippi. She said Express Jet airlines has tickets from the IE to Oklahoma City for $99, so it may be cheaper to fly into OKC than Dallas or Phoenix on a connection on a major airlines. I think my mom wants me to be there when she is this summer. My main goal is to go to MS, then we'll see what happens after that.Got to Hollywood and walked around to all the little touristy destinations and shops. Then we decided to take the tour to see the stars houses. We went up in Bel Air, Beverly Hills and up on Mullholland Drive. It was a 2 hour tour and foggy, so we didn't get to see things realy great. We saw Leo Dicaprio's house, the house used in the Lethal Weapon movies (that 1/2 oval shaped one), Charlton Heston's house, The Summit (gated community surrounded by TONS of paparazi) where David Beckham and Posh Spice live, JLo, and more. We saw Matt Leblanc's house, Elton John's house he is having built shaped like a piano and his current house. John Travolta (there was a little early 90s Nissan 240 parked out front), and Meg Ryan lives below John Travolta. We saw Jackie Chan, Robin Williams, Steven Seagal's, and Bill Cosby's house. Jim Carey's house was really NEAT. He changes the flowers in front supposively every week, plus it had neat architecture and the tour guide said he drives an ordinary car... a little 4 door Saturn. Went down Rodeo Drive.John Travolta's house aboveRecognize this house from Lethal Weapon?Paparazzi outside of The Summit where David Beckham and JLo live... there were probably 20 out there all with their cameras ready for anyone who leaves.Rodeo Drive... expensiveAfter the tour we had cookies at the Nestle Tollhouse store at Hollywood/Highland. Then we saw my mom's principal in front of Graman's Chinese theater. We also walked the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We had pizza at a restaurant we ate at before. It was not great pizza though. The quality has really declined. Hollywood/Highland Complex on a sunny day... 4 stories of shopping/entertainmentMy mom and I separated for an hour or so, so I went to 2 stores... quite far from each other... at least a mile on foot. I went to Amoeba Music in Hollywood... found GREAT CDs for cheap... here's what I got...- Sugarland: Enjoy the Ride- The Rembrandts: The Rembrandts- Snow Patrol: Final Straw- Nine Days: The Maddening Crowd - The Shins: Wincing the Night Away- Jimmy Eat World: FuturesI also hit the real biggie... THE HUSTLER STORE... as in Hustler Magazine Store. They had all sorts of things... tons of lingerie for women, undergarments for guys, toys, magazines, sodas, and a cafe type deal. MAN. Those male manikins in leather in the front were really hot. I wanted to buy something... I was feeling wild and adventurous, but I didn't want to carry something with my mom there that I would have been embarrassed about like that and had nowhere to hide it. My mom did found out though, just through random conversation... actually she said that she went to Fredericks of Hollywood since she actually knows some people who work at it. Then I said basically I can do you one better... I went to Hustler. She laughed and that was about it, but it was pretty funny.

Short summary of today...- went to grocery store- took chest pics and other photos... some which may end up on here... but I actually have a reason... to track PROGRESS and see if I am getting any results from the gym- went to Borders for CBEST study book this evening- registered for CBEST (California Basic Skills Education Test which is required to become a teacher or substitute) - I found a way I can substitute in 2 school districts in the area as long as I'm enrolled in college- used the weed whacker which meant bad allergy attack... lots of Alavert and Flonase... but the yard looks A LOT better- saw 3 red and black snakes (not sure what type) but 2 were about 6 inches and the other was a foot while weed whacking... was surprised at first, then thought ok, went back to work, then one came over... one of the little ones and I accidentally chopped it since it got in my way - planned a daytrip with my mom to Hollywood tommorow via the train and subwayOk... here is the pic... I don't think the boxers do anything for me... heh... anyways... I am just kind of curious to watch and see what happens as I workout at the gym. The thing that bothers me is how white I am... I need a tan!!! I don't have the patience to lay out in the sun and tan though... that takes HOURS. Maybe the tanning place? I don't know...

Left handed and baseball
I have a love/hate relationship being left handed. Everyone is right handed, so when they try to show me something they have to know how to do it the left handed way, which can prove challenging like when I learned to play baseball when I was little. My uncle in Illinois taught me to play baseball when I was maybe 3 or 4 and he was out here visiting. Though he was left handed played baseball right handed, my dad was right handed too and batted right handed, so both had a hard time teaching me. It took a long time before I learned on my own how to do it. I hated sports when I was little, especially in school, because I do everything backward of everyone else and when you are taught something, they always teach how to do it right handed. Even in things like kick ball, I kick with my left foot, not right foot like I was supposed to. Jerking off... left hand... writing... left hand... main hand I use in driving... left... my forkk goes in my left hand when I eat... throwing/pitching... left hand again... holding anything... left hand. I hate being in a restaurant with friends or family and have to sit on the inside or outside of the booth because I'm left handed and bump arms with those that are right handed. The only thing I use my right hand for is in bowling where I will hold and throw the ball with my right hand. I hate in almost all of the classrooms at my college there are only 1-2 left handed desks and every right handed person insists on sitting in it. I hate when using pencil or pen and picking up the ink on my hand as I write. I don't have the problem writing on the whiteboard, thankfully. I can barely hold a pencil in my right hand correctly. I don't use my right hand for anything really. My dad's brother, his wife, their granddaughter, I know for sure all all left handed. My mom's uncle in Illinois is left handed. My mom wrote left handed until 8th grade, then her teachers and my grandma insisted she switch. My grandma tried to switch me to right hand when I was little. My dad is right handed. My sister is right handed since my grandma didn't want her to become left handed like me when she started school, so she stopped her.I was trying to teach my little 10 year old cousin to play basebal last night becuase she has NEVER learned. 10... NEVER LEARNED TO PLAY BASEBALL... 10 YEARS OLD...WOW. There's problems there. Her grandparents (whom she lives with) have the bats and balls in her garage, but never taught her. I think because her grandpa is so into basketball, she only knows how to play basketball. She has never learned baseball though... the true all American sport... what do they teach her in Catholic school? Geez. I was shocked, so insisted she needed to learn since I was babysitting, and we had all evening. We were outside on her lawn and I was asking her if she was right or left handed. She is right handed (even though her grandpa (my uncle) and grandma are left handed, her sister is also left handed, I'm not sure about her mother but she does have a left handed slant when she writes). As I was trying to show her how to hold the bat I realized I didn't know how to hold the bat right handed. It took a lot of experimenting on my part trying to figure out how to hold the bat right handed. Finally figured it out and then showed her how to swing at the ball. I probably should have just showed her how to bat left handed. She took a while to pick up on it, was mostly scared of being hit by the ball, thefact the bat was a bit heavy, she managed to hit the ball a few times, got hit by the ball a few times (which resulted in a lot of crying), little patience on my end, but did pretty well, but hopefully now she has the interest to learn to play baseball.

Fieldtrip!!!
Got to go on a field trip yesterday. It was very fun. Loud Mouth Coworker supplied all the adults who went on the trip with caramel frappucinos because we had to get up SOOOOO early (be at work at 7:00a.m.), which is not early in my book, just her's. That was nice. We hit Friday morning light traffic since the bus could use the carpool lane. Made it to CSUN in 2 hours exactly. We took a tour of CSUN. NICE CAMPUS. Nice people. A bit far over in the San Fernando Valley, but a nice campus, great atmosphere, nice and new buildings (since most were damaged by the 94 Northridge quake). The buildings all looked so different- no uniform look throughout the whole school like my college. Also, look at the murals painted in a lot of the classrooms. No two murals were the same, but VERY different... this one was "interesting"...Cool library storage system... there is a robotic arm that goes and finds your book in these shelves... one of the only colleges to have this... they have a ton of books. The biggest library in the San Fernando Valley.Universal Studios... VERY FUN!!! We went on everything but the Jurassic Park ride and Studio Tour. We didn't want to get wet on the Jurassic Park ride and the Studio Tour (which I was supposed to go on to see the Crossing Jordan set and Desperate Housewives set for my my aunt) didn't work out. We didn't know the studio tour closed at 4:15 and we were planning for that to be our last ride. Loud Mouth Coworker and I got a picture of us dancing with Dora the Explorer. Loud Mouth and I were going to hang out with the teachers who went on the trip because they're cool, but they pretty much followed us around. On the Mummy ride (the only roller coaster at Universal) Loud Mouth was hesitant to go and would only go if I held her hand. I did. I wanted to go. This was when our group had like 15 people because my group (3 junior kids I tutor plus Loud Mouth) merged with the other group of juniors. We all went on the Mummy together. I was holding hands with Loud Mouth and then one of the junior guys put his hand on my leg right above my knee and began rubbing it. I kind of liked it, but it was WRONG. We were in the dark so maybe he was trying to be funny and scare me or something, and while I did like it, I did make a big deal out of it and yelled, "J. what are you doing?!?! Feeling me up?" I heard him laugh and that was it. I did notice he was trying to make eye contact with me the rest of the day. I did notice that maybe it wasn't just me he was feeling up... he put his hand on Loud Mouth's leg also on one ride we went on. He also is very touchy/feely with his guy friends.Loud Mouth was also scared of Frankenstein. I have some pictures to use for blackmail of her RUNNING away from Frankenstein when he wanted to come and visit her. IT IS PRICELESS!!! Loud Mouth was also scared of most of the rides like the motion simulators that they had and other rides like Shrek 4D... she was screaming nonstop!A look at Universal CitywalkDinner was at Bubba Gumps Shrimp on Universal City Walk. The restaurant has the whole Forrest Gump theme going on. Very cool. Loud Mouth and I ate with the teachers here, then the girls who were in my group ate at the table next to us. One teacher pointed out I am a really big flirt... I had to laugh... it can be true I suppose. I started out with the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Loud Mouth decided my corn on the cob looked good, so she took my corn (I HATE CORN), so that was cool. Then she gave me some of her shrimp in exchange. Then Loud Mouth decided we'd take something from each others plate... I gave up a piece of my chicken for some popcorn shrimp (soooo good!!!) and some fries. I had a blueberry lemonade with my food, which was soooo good also!!! The mashed potatoes were disappointing, unfortunately nobody wanted those, which I would have happily given away. Anyways, look at this cool sign you flip when you need something at your table:Got home at 12:00a.m. exactly. I made it to bed by 12:40 and probably fell asleep by 1.

Kelly Mack is gone
I noticed on NBC's website that they removed Kelly Mack's biography. I liked her quite a bit. KCBS/KCAL or KABC would be smart to pick her up I think.

I want to go to the drive-in
I really want to go to a drive-in movie right now. Yes. The drive-in. There are 2 still in my city... one about 5 miles away. I have not been in years. But I really want to go right now. Its only $5 per car and you get to see 2 movies. SCORE. I just had this idea... I want to go with a guy and makeout and watch a movie. It sounds totally hot to me. If only I had a guy to do that with. Maybe one of these days...

Una razon para estudiar Espanol
I called my old bank today (where my savings account is and credit card) because I hadn't received my statement on my credit card. I didn't want the payment to be late, so I decided to call. I called first, went through their stupid automated prompts to connect me to the right place, waited for about 5 minutes on hold and was told I was the 8th caller in line to be served. Screw that. I hate waiting on the phone and listening to their pitches about their services they offer, I hate automated systems, I hate listening to Jessica Simpson music on hold, so I decided to hang up and call back. I had this bright idea- they always say "press 1 for English," "press 2 for Spanish." I pressed dos. Yo hablo Espanol, so I figured por que no? Within 30 seconds there was a lady on the phone in Spanish, asked me how she could help, I told her of my problema and needed to know the balance on my credit card, she asked for my address and other security stuff, then told me what I needed to know. All within 2 minutes. That was muy bueno.
