Huntington Beach HS Bully

http://ktla.com/2015/09/24/huntington-beach-high-student-arrested-for-allegedly-beating-visually-impaired-teen-video-of-incident-goes-viral/

This fight has made lots of news over the past few days since it is close to home, it involves a student who is nearly defenseless (often happens in fights, but this one is more heartbreaking in my opinion because the student can barely see).

Now, personal opinions, should the student, Cody, who stepped in be suspended from the football team? No. He was standing up for someone and doing something that we would want all people to do. Cody is awesome in my mind because I don't know the victim, but he is standing up for someone who was defenseless.

What does the law say? First, the school, like many, has a zero tolerance policy. Anyone involved in a fight is to be suspended. I could go into the history of the zero tolerance policy within schools, but let's talk about a few things. In zero tolerance cases this acts in conjunction with ed code, and any student involved is suspended regardless of circumstances.

There are other elements the media is not addressing - Filming fights has changed the nature of them. Under zero tolerance, but also state law,  anyone who films or is standing around as a witness is also supposed to be suspended. I wonder if they are in this case.

So as an administrator I would have to put my biases aside because I think that Cody should not be suspended, but the law is what I have to follow:

Cody, the bully, and the victim, under zero tolerance requires that they be suspended under 48900 A

The bully would be suspended under 48900 R, 48900.4B, which would also mean the bully would be referred to the police and most likely cited.

Ed code is below:
48900. A pupil shall not be suspended from school or recommended
for expulsion, unless the superintendent of the school district or
the principal of the school in which the pupil is enrolled determines
that the pupil has committed an act as defined pursuant to any of
subdivisions (a) to (r), inclusive:
   (a) (1) Caused, attempted to cause, or threatened to cause
physical injury to another person.
   (2) Willfully used force or violence upon the person of another,
except in self-defense.

 (r) Engaged in an act of bullying. For purposes of this
subdivision, the following terms have the following meanings:
   (1) "Bullying" means any severe or pervasive physical or verbal
act or conduct, including communications made in writing or by means
of an electronic act, and including one or more acts committed by a
pupil or group of pupils as defined in Section 48900.2, 48900.3, or
48900.4, directed toward one or more pupils that has or can be
reasonably predicted to have the effect of one or more of the
following:
   (A) Placing a reasonable pupil or pupils in fear of harm to that
pupil's or those pupils' person or property.
   (B) Causing a reasonable pupil to experience a substantially
detrimental effect on his or her physical or mental health.
   (C) Causing a reasonable pupil to experience substantial
interference with his or her academic performance.
   (D) Causing a reasonable pupil to experience substantial
interference with his or her ability to participate in or benefit
from the services, activities, or privileges provided by a school.

Sometimes as an administrator things happen that you disagree with, but you have to act based on the laws of district and state, and that's how it would have to be handled. And not following those laws puts you out of a job. Decisions like this anger me.

Kristen Aldridge

Another reason I can't watch ABC 7 after Garth Kemp left, their new social media specialist with news and entertainment drives me up the wall.

Take a moment to enjoy The View

I am a morning TV junkie. Love my GMA and CBS Morning News. Today Show is a no-go until my favorite drunks, Hoda and Kathie. I flip back and forth between Hoda and Kathie, and The View. After all the stories about the ratings and the rumored firing of Rosie Perez, I decided to vent about my thoughts:

My team:
Rosie O, Whoopi, Eva Longoria, Nicole Wallace

- I like Rosie Perez, but if they're going for a latina, how about Eva Longoria? She has the credentials - restauranteur, actress, opinionated, a degree in Chicana studies.

- The ratings are down because there are no big fights this year. There are, but they're shut down, and Whoopi throws it to commercial. Let them continue. That's why I watch.

Elex

When did Elex Michaelson become ABC7's lead reporter at 11? I have to turn overtime he is on. I cannot watch him. He makes me cringe. He often needs a haircut. Tonight he was doing a breaking news story, and I had to turn the channel. I turned to Beverly on Channel 4 to tell me about it.

Last weekend as he was anchoring the weekend news I couldn't take it. I cannot watch him. He's just difficult to watch.

Maybe its his head movement? Too full of himself?

Today Show vs. GMA

So I'm a morning news junkie. We know that. Often, when Mike is gone I'm up at 4am watching the KTLA Morning News as it comes on, flipping over to Alysha and Garth on ABC7 because the weather and traffic gal just make my morning.

I didn't watch the Today Show until high school. Matt and Katie. I enjoyed them. Al was whatever. Meredith was great too. I would always flip back and forth between that and GMA. I liked Charlie and Diane, then Diane and Robin.

After Meredith left I was solely an ABC watcher. George Stephanopolous, Robin Roberts, Josh Elliott, and Sam Champion had such great chemistry together, and were fun to watch. After Josh left it became hard to watch. Bringing Michael Strahan on? That was jumping the shark. He is tough to watch. He doesn't fit into my morning. He's not a news guy. I can somewhat stand Lara. I still watch GMA or CBS. CBS does real news, and I like that.

GMA continues to drive me crazy. Amy Robach has zero personality and Ginger Zee has her moments. I was hoping that Juju Chang or Bil Weir would be on in mornings. I remember when Bil Weir used to be in LA. Loved watching him, he's a looker, and great sense of humor. GMA I feel needs someone with a little more personality in there to read the news in the mornings.

Savannah Guthrie is imposible to watch. I was hoping after all these rumors that have come up over the past few days about the radical changes at the Today Show were true. Willie Geist would be gone. He's tough to watch. Here's the changes I would make

7-9am - Matt and Tamron Hall, Natalie Morales reading the news
9-10 - Natalie Morales and Josh Elliott, or Josh would be great reading the news on the 7-9am
10-11 - Hoda and Kathie, you can't separate them, they remind me it is ok to drink wine before noon.

TV and Radio Observations

Anyone ever watch "The People's Couch" on Bravo? Anyone seen the Egbert family, the 2 guys, who are sons, who are always laying in their parent's bed, in between mom and dad? Weird.

Radio

- I am so glad Kristin Cruz from the Mark & Kristin show on KOST 103.5 is gone. I could not stand another moment about her talking about her kids, her firefighter, or her sandpaper voice.

- I cannot stand Bruce Scott in the afternoon on KOST. He just seems a little fruity. Keri Steele is just hella annoying too. I avoid KOST a lot these days.

- Oh, and another reason why I avoid KOST is their traffic bed. They've added the most annoying and grating music to the bed during the traffic report. It sounds like they took the music from One Republic's Counting Stars and have that behind Mike Nolan giving the traffic.

- I miss RaqC and Nachin en Exitos 93.9 y all the Spanglish. Listen to the clip from Exitos below. How awesome is all that Spanglish? That's pretty much como I talk on a daily basis.

- Radio stations that place the commercials before the traffic reports bother me. I am not going to stick around to wait for a traffic report - I will flip to another station.

- KIIS is so formulaic sounding in the morning - not a Ryan Seacrest in the morning fan, but I do like him, only on TV I've decided.

- My favorite radio stations right now are 100.3 KSWD, The Sound. Lots of music, lots of not regularly played classic rock, great features like Peace Love and Sunday Mornings, Triple Play Thursdays, and My Turn.

- KOLA is good, but their playlist, even though they have gone 90s too, is so limited. They could add in groups like TLC, Gin Blossoms,  Mariah Carey (other than Always Be My Baby), Nirvana, Alanis Morisette, Paula Cole. KOLA also needs more 80s. They should add in a few 60s like KEARTH does with Beatles and Beach Boys, along with Motown.

- I like Jesse Duran and Irma in the morning on KOLA. They're fun and energetic.

- Meanwhile on another IE station, KGGI, I cannot stand John Magic, Weavey, and Evelyn Erives. He just doesn't appeal to me. Diana Weavey is so small market sounding. KGGI no longer plays old school.

- And other morning shows - I don't like the Woody Show on ALT 987. Their features like the Redneck news are fine, but they talk so much about like how bad humanity is. I know it is, but I just don't find them relatable.

- Anytime I need a Woody I can go to Heidi and Frank on 955 KLOS, and they are always talking about sex in some way or another. The other morning they were talking about a survey about people liking to do it while their favorite shows are on so they don't miss out on the shows. Like WTF, really, people? LOL.

- I continue to loathe KFROG's limited playlist, the Frogmen in the Morning talk about the same thing everyday - their kids, school, and well, it's boring.

TV

- KTLA just hired Nerissa Witherspoon Knight - the former KNBC morning anchor who had a big 130 market fall to Beaumont Texas after her KNBC days. And she was probably where she belonged. She was painful to watch. WTF is KTLA thinking?

- KTLA is on a bimbo hiring spree it seems right now. Courtney Friel. Nerissa.

- KTLA should have Vera Jimenez or Ginger Chan occasionally stand in front of the traffic map, instead of inside the traffic center. I like that. Watch my girl Alysha below...

- Love me my Alysha, Garth, Leslie, and Phillip in the morning on ABC7. I am constantly changing the channel between ABC7 and the KTLA crew 4-7am crew. I can't stand Jessica Holmes, so after 7, I am watching CBS or ABC. Henry DiCarlo is hilarious. I can't watch KABC with Bri Winkler on. She's amateur, at best. Chris Schauble doesn't even bother me that much on KTLA now.

Have to admit, I used to have a hard time watching Leslie Sykes, but she has grown on me, and I enjoy her in the morning.

- And Good Day LA is unwatchable. PERIOD.

- Oh, and I haven't watched KNBC in a hot minute also. They're just a mess over there. Anette Arreola, Gadi Schwartz, Tony Shin, and Michelle Valles. All amateurs at best, and really do not know SoCal when they talk.

Week of trainings

AWFUL WEEK OF TRAININGS FOR WORK. I guess the nice thing was I had good company and equally pessimistic people to amuse me.

Monday- Learned about the F word. Mike and his parents got back late Monday night and I made some pasta for us all.

Tuesday - Allergy shots. My dad had a mini health scare Tuesday night while I was at home. I'm really worried about my dad.

Wednesday - Boring day of trainings. Dropped my car off at repair shop down the street from the training. Mike texted me asking if I wanted to go to LA with his parents to see a TV taping- sure- sounded good. Mike and his parents picked me up from school so we could go... awww. it was cute. We got there just a tad too late, but enjoyed our time prior drinking some margaritas at El Torito. Went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory where we had a couple appetizers that weren't half bad and a cheesecake. We did have some more wine.

Thursday - Mike took me to my training since I had no car. He went to go get his braces put on. Got my car back that afternoon and met him and his parents at home. We went out to PS. We stopped in to see Mike's coworker, whom we ended up going to dinner with. We went to the Mexican place on the main drag where we had a couple margaritas and his dad socialized with all around, went to the street fest in Palm Springs and bought a few things, then went to Fishermans for beer and tacos, a restaurant/nightclub with an interesting crowd where we heard all about his dad's idol, his coworker's family, and talked work. There was also some dancing and lots of interesting people to look at. We ended the night by dropping his coworker off and going to the gay club WITH HIS PARENTS. His parents were so cool about it- they didn't say anything- I'd never been. There was an older crowd. His dad chatted up a group of guys and his mom, Mike, and myself just sat at the bar talking. We head back home after - its about 10:30ish.

Friday - More training. I'm done with the training early in the afternoon and I go home to visit with the family before going back to visit Mike and family. We watch TV and then head to the steakhouse we like for dinner. It was cold. We sat on the patio and his dad got cranky fast, and that sort of soured the night. Mike was so tired of his dad we dropped them at home while he said we were going to the store. The store was Chilis. We had a margarita and he bitched about his dad, I listened, offered my 2 cents, and told how my dad is a lot alike. We did go to the store since we said we were, and so we had to come home with something. We came home with stuff so we could make pancakes in the morning.

Saturday - Mike made pancakes after we were up and showered. We sat around a few hours, watched the Nascar race, and went to Sams with his mom. We got back home and cleaned his car so his parents had a clean car to go to a friend's house for dinner. They left about 5 and we took off too. We went to the Italian place at the mall where I found my new favorite drink - cinnamon whiskey with coke. Walked around the mall after, grocery store, and then home. We watched TV on the couch. He kept yelling and hitting me to wake up, yet I was mostly awake. He's the one who fell asleep about 5 minutes before his parents got home at 9:40 and I was talking to them. We went to bed about 10:30

Sunday - Up about 8, showered, and then I was a little tired as we sat on the couch. Mike did make food for breakfast and we watched more racing on TV. Went to PS again with his parents. Actually, we went to our favorite seafood place with his parents where his dad had a strong margarita with a lot of tequila. He was very happy and social, which allowed us to enjoy the calamari and walk through the mall. We went down the street to an Italian place that was super cheap, super busy, and super delicious. Sat at the bar and we each had 2 drinks to go with our meal. Chatted about lots of random stuff. We head toward the storm and back in the car toward home. We arrive, have some ice cream and cookies, then relax. We watch "Bridesmaids" with his parents. Pretty funny. We head to bed about 11.

Monday - Home about 8:30 since Mike had to go for a physical. I left as he did, everyone else was still in bed. Hanging out with my dad today. Joy.

Sunday night TV Ramblings

Desperate Housewives
- Sad it is ending. I really disliked tonight's episode. Mike was one of my favorites. The episode was bad in my opinion just because it was so different from the typical Desperate Housewives show. There were flashbacks to childhood, which while it tied the story together seemed completely out of place and gave the show a different feel. There were also too many stories going on and the first flashback when Mike was suddenly alive and in the room at rehab with Carlos and Gabrielle threw me for a loop.

GCB
I want to like that show. Kristen Chenowith is fun, and I had no clue the sexy David James Elliott is in it. We got to see his sexy chest on multiple occasions. Plausible? Not so much. That's hard for me to take. Cute? Sure... cute lines... I want to like it, though.

Someone Like You

I am singing that after the wonderful weekend with Mike. It wasn't anything extraordinary, we were pretty laxed. It was just nice being in each other's company.

WEDNESDAY
Spent the evening at Mike's. We fell asleep on the couch about 5 and then woke up about 6, ate dinner, and back to bed about 8:30. We moved into the bedroom about 1:00a.m.

THURSDAY
The day went ok at work. Mike had a lot of work in the evening and so he handled that, booked stuff, and I made some mushroom pasta sauce he had in the cupboard for dinner. I also baked a pumpkin pie because I didn't have cake. Cake. Cake. Cake.

FRIDAY
I texted Mike when I had a second free in the afternoon and he said he wanted to take his car in. I meet him at his house after work, we have to jump the convertible, and then I follow him into the repair shop. I ask where to go and he tells me he needs to go to Home Depot to get grass fertilizer. I drive him there and then decide we will head a couple cities over to a new restaurant that opened. It was a mostly organic restaurant- the drinks were made from a bunch of flowers and natural nectars. I had what was the equivalent of a whiskey sour with some sort of flower and 2 egg whites in it. It was delicious. The food was not bad, but it was not great- it was a new restaurant and they definitely have time to improve. Mike was harsh on it. We had eggplant sliders, sweet potato tots, potato pancakes, and a warm spinach salad.
We go back to the house and hang around- but first stopped at WalMart and Ralphs. No falling asleep on the couch for me.

SATURDAY
Woke up about 8 and got showered after laying in the bed watching news. Mike attempts to make these gluten free pancakes he found in the oven, but they were horrid like cornbread, so he uses some mix he had on hand and followed Ina Garten's oven pancake recipe. IT WAS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! The pancakes were like crepes, nice, fluffy, and airy. SO GOOD! We enjoy those, then play around on our computers. We head out about 2. We were on a drive somewhere- we didn't know where. We ended up in a sushi place in Monterey Park. We thought about going to Nordstrom Rack, but didn't. The sushi didn't agree with me at the restaurant. Sea urchin is NASTY. We drove around and stopped at a bakery for cookies and cake bites, sampled those, as we drove around the OC and LA. We were about to go to The Guy's BBQ, which I had been looking forward to, but I decided we needed to run home. I laid on the couch all evening. The sushi did not agree with me. We did venture out to my city for groceries because we were on a drive. We got lots of pasta. We also stopped at the Lincoln dealer in my city because we found an incredible lease on a great car for a great price, and someone was thinking about trading their lease in. He was really tempted to get it... but then we realized the car will be redesigned. It was on the way home from that that I read on facebook Whitney had died. EVERYONE posted it on facebook. I felt such a knot and drop in my stomach as I read that. I was surprised to say the least. We talked about that, her drug use, Bobbay, text Mike's best friend, and then equate this to Michael's passing where we will remember where we were when we heard it. I think we will hear nonstop Whitney in the future, much like Michael.I also think this will be as big as Michael's funeral. I also think Whitney will posthumously get a star on the Walk of Fame. Mike and I are betting. Is that bad? We head home and I crash...

SUNDAY
Woke up at 7, showered, and played around on our computers until nearly 1. We go to the outdoor mall a few cities over and walk around. We wander into Penny's and find some $300 and $200 lamps on sale for $15 a piece. Mike gets them. We didn't think that was the price, but the girl overrode it and didn't question the tag that was on them. Woo! We head home and put them together. First we stop and get some fish since I was craving fish. I buy. We then go home, put the lamps up in the spare bed, then make our Grammy predictions. We both had pretty much the same picks, but I won a couple more. I guess a kiss was all I got out of it. It was good. We watch all of the Grammys, some Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Desperate Housewives. Bed about 11:30, but first we play around some, which was nice.

MONDAY
Up at 7 for him, 8 for me. I bragged I was seeing what sleeping in late while someone showered felt like. He had a coupel calls to handle. I was at my leisure, showered, and ran to CVS because my allergies were going haywire. He texted me telling me I left. I emailed him since he had just sent me an email saying I ran to CVS. I got back and he was still on the phone. I watch TV and he packs for his week away.

Movie Weekend

Weekend wrap up

FRIDAY

- Mike was supposed to come in at 12am, but got his flight changed to avoid not being able to make it out of Chicago due to snow. He got his flight changed, but he flew into a different airport, so got a rental car for the weekend. We had a Camaro.

I am fast asleep when he gets in about 12:30 I think it was. I have been so stressed at work I think it is causing my back to hurt. It felt just like the growing pains I would get as a teenager. Maybe I'm growing? My lower back feels inflamed and I get a shocking tingling sensation when I move my lower back. I took an 800mg motrin and muscle relaxer, so I was out of it. He came in and I didn't hear the car pull in the garage. I remembOer kissing and babbling for a few moments before drifting off until 8:30

SATURDAY

I laid in bed while he showered, then got up and ready for the day. We played around on our computers/iPads, then he asked where to go. I mentioned LA, the beach, or Palm Springs. We go to my city to pick up his package at FedEx, then go to LA. Initially he didn't want to go, but he drove that way. We go to Pershing Square, walk around that area, go to Grand Central Market, then stop for some belgian fries, then off on our walking tour to the toy and fashion district. We get back in the car and head toward Santa Monica. We look on yelp for a sushi boat, which the only one we found was a 3 star rated, and we wanted good sushi. We opted for the sushi place in the Colver City mall, then head toward Hollywood. We decided to go to El Capitán to see Beauty and the Beast. It actually looked pretty good in 3D, and it was nice to hear some of the fun songs that are so memorable from that. The organist was pretty cool too that played prior to the show. It seemed done in true Disney fashion. We head home after. We fall asleep on the couch around 9ish. I sleep past 12:30a.m. when there was a pizza guy at the door who had the wrong house. I had no idea this happened. He kept ringing and Mike finally got up to get it. I had no idea and joked with him the next morning I didn't hear it.

SUNDAY

Up at 9:30. We slept on the couch all night. WOW. That was bad. We were both in pain. Mike's neck hurt and my back still hurt. We make our way to Mickey D's. We then head out to Palm Springs. We stop at Kohls, a thrift store, and then on to Banananana Republic in Palm Dessert. The PS Film Fest was going on, so we decided to go back home. We stopped at F&S for groceries, then off to his house for some pasta. We catch up on our housewives and relax.

MONDAY

We are up at 8:30 and spend the day relaxing on the couch. We go to see Joyful Noise, that gospel movie, ya know. We ate at Loosill's and Mike read the reviews about how all these churchgoing people thought it was so wholesome minus Dolly. We wondered if we should go- it was cute, but a bit churchy. We drop the rental car off and I drive his car over to the drop off place. We talk about the issues in the Camaro. We go back home and do some more TV watching. I eat some pasta and a slice of toast because I'm starved. Mike wasn't hungry. We were both horny, or I was, he determined, but we both ended up being, so jacked each other off, and made out.

TUESDAY

He was up at 6 and I was up at 6:30. He found out his business trip was off, so he could relax. I shower and head off to work by 7. Had an ok, yet stressful day at work.

Mannfriend

FRIDAY

Spent with my mann friend, we went to Chilis if memory serves me correctly, or somewhere over near there... Olive Garden... I had what we thought was a $25 gift card, but we soon realized there was only $4 left on it since we'd used it before, so he paid for dinner. After we went to Sams Club for a tequila rifle for a gift I needed to buy. Mike joked I was going to get his dessert there and pay for it. We found none - except stuff in bulk. We went to the pet store where I fell in love with a persian kitty that I was so tempted in allowing Mike to get. It was precious and was blind in an eye.

SATURDAY

We ventured to Kohls in the middle of the day, as well as the pet stores. We went back to his place where we watched some TV and then headed out to dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant that was just so-so-ehhh. We blew down (because it was super windy and cold- like 30 degrees) to see the Muppet Movie at the mall. We go back to his house.

SUNDAY

We don't move too far until the late afternoon. We go to Chilis; Target where there were tons of people, an insane line; Cost Plus, and DSW. We also go to Marshalls and Joann. I didn't make it home - mi madre had been calling me several times.

We also went to the mall in the afternoon. We went to the one near school and 2 students in my homeroom saw me. I didn't hear until Tuesday. I would have thought they would have come up to me, but no. We went to all the stores including Bath and Body Works. Not sure what store they saw me in... anyway, on Tuesday one kid stood up after we were done testing to announce she saw me at the mall. I said, "Yeah, you probably did." Another said, "yeah, he was with his mannfriend." I laughed. She said "it's ok Mr., your secret is safe with me." I chuckled and said there's nothing wrong with man friends, he could be a neighbor friend too," but she knows I'm sure, and well, whatever. It was amusing and Mike got a great laugh out of my newfound ally.

My man friend and I changed positions in bed, and that was interesting... it had been a long time since I'd done that.

MONDAY

Spent the evening and night with him. He made some chicken strips and rice. It was pretty good. We watched lots of TV like 2 1/2 Men. Dumb show. Awful to watch.

TUESDAY

Dinner con mi familia- mis padres en particular y we went to Carrows. The food was horrid. I had a dirt salad- or at least that's what it tasted like.

Discovered my new favorite song in the car driving to dinner.

WEDNESDAY

Back at Mike's. He was working on expenses for work and whipped up some pasta after a while, as well as bread. It was delicious. He made me some for work today- love him! We both fell asleep on the couch and made it into the bedroom around 12:15

THURSDAY

Went to Mike's after school and he was watching TV on the couch. Told him all about my day- the meetings, the parents, etc. etc. Long day. Told him about the lesbians at work. He looked up the menu for Chevee's and we went for some quesadillas. Convo was all about work at Chevee's, which was fun, as he gave me pointers, suggestions, told me to kiss up to the principal, assistant, etc. etc. He was cute. We had a margarita and quesadilla, then walked around the mall. Joked about if anyone would see me at this other mall 2 cities away with my mannfriend. I found some zapatos en Nordstrom Rack y un regalo de polish for mi mom en Nordstrom. We stopped for bread at the market after. Driving back to his place i realize I didn't have the supplies I needed for this weekend for work, so I came home to do that. Visited with the family y my dad was excited to see me again.

Met my cousin

THURSDAY

I had a "you can't make this shit up" start to Thanksgiving, but then the drama mellowed out thankfully, and got to enjoy all of my extended family

FRIDAY

Lots of Black Friday shopping by myself and with my mother

SATURDAY

Finally got to see my bf after texting him all week. He had a great time at home, b His flight got in after midnight Friday night. We met about 9:30 or 10. My mom had intended to spend the day with me when she figured out I was going to SD, but I had other plans. I made up a white lie and was off to see my bf.

I get to his place about 10:30 and he is watching TV. We watch King of Queens or Mike and Molly, and he books a hotel and I pick out a restaurant to meet my cousin at. I offer to pay for the hotel, but he says my AAA card would suffice.

We drive to SD, but stop in Temec for honey since his friend back home swore that was what I needed for my allergies, then we stopped at a Chilis for a margarita and lonché. We get to SD, find the super awesome hotel and then we go up to the room and fall asleep in each others arms for a few hours. I call the restaurant and make reservations, and seal everything up with my cousin.

We meet my cousin at 6 at an Italian restaurant. Our hotel was close enough to walk thanks to someone's great thinking. I see my cousin standing outside and the man she was with looked nothing like what I told Mike I had imagined him to be. He was a little surprised as we were walking up and told me so. We hug, shake hands, and introduce ourselves. I never told my cousin I was gay in text. I just told her I had a special someone I wanted to introduce her to. She hugs, meets him, and I check into the restaurant. She goes to the restroom to freshen up, text me, and tell me how cute my bf is, as well as his great smile. It makes me melt, let me tell you.

We see the campy humor of my cousin's boyfriend, my cousin asks me all about the family and I divulge. Mike ordered a bottle of wine, which he said later made everything much more bearable. He thought my cousin was super overly excited and asked if she was always like that- I said yes - and he thought the meet was interesting - my cousin wants to meet him again.

We texted afterward and I told her about not being out to her mom, and she agreed it was best not to be. She told me she can't wait to meet again and I told her what a great guy she found.

Mike and I go back to the hotel, watch some kids movie on TV, and fall asleep cuddled up to each other, which was so nice.

SUNDAY

Up, shower, and go to a brunch restaurant in NW SD. We talk about what a strange place it was, then we go to the outlets and don't find a lot. We head home. He makes a pizza for lunch, look at the ads, and I create lesson plans. For dinner he makes chicken marsala- vegetarian style of course. We go to bed about 10:30 and fool around, and I suck him off for a sec.

MONDAY

Up and off to work again... I figure I could do this. Rowdy kids. Grrr. Home at 4. Tell him all about my day and coworkers. About 4:30 he starts dinner and he mentions how we need to vacuum. I offer and get it out of the cupboard and start. I do that for about 30 minutes - and by the time I'm done, I'm warm, and we relax until his shepherd's pie is done. It was quite good. I'd only had it once or twice before. We watch some RHOBH and WWHL. He gets ready to pack for work to go to ATL about 8:30 and I watch TV. We fall asleep about 10:30 and he introduces me to some new 90s show I'd never heard of- I can't remember the name.

TUESDAY

My bf has to get up at 4:30 to catch his flight. He kisses me, tells me he loves me, and then is off once he is dressed. I fall back asleep and am in a deep sleep when I'm awaken at 6:30.

Our weekend adventure

THURSDAY

My weekend adventure started Thursday night. I knew Mike was getting home from his flight about 5pm and I was planning on being at work extra late. I popped out in time to stop by the store to find something to cook. I debated about attempting a vegetarian version with fake meat of my family's stroganoff, which sounded delicious. I then decided on some tomato basil tortellini from Taste of Home. I text him, find out when he is off the plane, and start cooking. I'm finishing up as he walks in the door. I think he is surprised, gives me a kiss, pours me a glass of wine, and we catch up. I hear about work and his plane ride. We fall asleep on the couch in the evening and make our way to the bedroom about 12.

FRIDAY

I had an all night field trip to chaperone to an amusement park, so I had a crazy day. I had an evaluation at work, had crazy kids due to the excitement from the field trip, and had lots of grading to do. I left work at 3:15 to sneak to Mike's where he had made peppers stuffed with cream cheese. I have a few of those, then head back to work at 4:35 when Lipstick Lesbian calls asking where I was. The all night field trip was pretty chaotic because the lady who organized it was not the most organized and a few people bailed on chaperoning, but I was in for it. OMG. So much fun. The organizer and I had a blast riding the rides. I enjoyed going on the scary rides with my kids and bumper cars. I get in at nearly 5am and sneak next to Mike in bed.

SATURDAY

Up at 9:30am since I couldn't sleep any longer. Mike makes me an egg/toast while I tell him about the field trip in detail. I shower and then we take off. We go over to the OC to Nordstrom Rack, Kohls, and stop at TGI Fridays for an appetizer. We also stall killing time at Rite Aid and Trader Joes before heading to J and B's house. We chat, they talk about their house projects, school, and work. They give us the options for the evening. We head to Downtown Orange to a brewery for a drink and bad service, then across the way to a small restaurant for a pork chop. We then head to another brewery for beer tasting. We sample each other's beers. Mike uses the excuse he has to drive to pour alcohol in me. We were both very touchy in J and B's back seat as we drove to Fresh & Easy for pie, then to their house. We ate pie and talked more about random stuff. We head home about 11 and get to his place about 12. We both fall asleep after we brush our teeth, exhausted.

SUNDAY

Up at 9:30, breakfast at Mickey D's, then to Banananana Republic, JCPenney, and a few other stores. We get back to his place about 1p.m He makes us veggie burgers and I try my first- it wasn't bad- it was pretty tasty. It could possibly satisfy a burger craving- maybe. I enjoyed a coke with breakfast btw, which was yummy; Mike didn't think coke for breakfast was good and suggested alternates. We watch Bravo all afternoon, clean the kitchen, and he uses my tortellini from the other day as a base for his tomato basil pasta he serves with dinner. He added pasta and olives. It was yummy. It poured rain all afternoon and it was romantic as we laid watching the X-mas tree/TV. About 8pm the AMA's came on and we watched TV. We bet on each category as they came on as to who would win. About 9:30-10, he gets ready to pack to go home for Thanksgiving.

Best AMA performances were Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All and Katy Perry's acoustic version of her song The One Who Got Away. Kelly was best dressed in my opinion. Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera were worst.

We head to bed about 11:30, cuddle, make out, and then have sex.

MONDAY

Up at 7, he showers, and I lay in bed. I like that reversal from the usual. I bragged about how nice it was as I played with the kitty. He made his final preps packing and I got my clothing ready to take home to wash.

Met my dad at 9 to set up my retirement plan at the bank. Took my car for service after at a mechanic nearby. Being a commuter I should take much more care of my car and so I don't have to dump tons of money into it at once. The car was really sick as it is still in the repair shop healing. I am out about $1,100. Hopefully I get CarCar back tomorrow.

TUESDAY

Went to LA con mi papa and there was a lot of silence during the trip, then this evening we sat in my room and watched TV.

And I'm back... and similarities

WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Went over to Mike's because I needed to be at work super early since I had a sub Wednesday and had to get my room back in order. I went back to chaos- a bad last period of the day and so much needing to get done for Thursday

THURSDAY
Got to Mike's about 9:00pm after a long day at work. Brought him some dessert a 15x15 bar that a teacher had made, but he didn't like it. He said in his text to bring something sweet. I brought something sweet. It was delis, but he wanted chocolate chip cookies. He missed out. I ate the treats myself. We both went to bed about 10:30.

FRIDAY
I was at work until 4 and could have stayed until 5 or 6, but it was a Friday. Go to dinner at our favorite steakhouse. While there we talk about everything from work to family to meeting his parents to his ex. While in the middle of dinner, our 2nd appetizer the power goes out in the restaurant. It was very busy. No one really screamed - some pulled out their cell phones and ate by cell phone light. We had a good time. I was rubbing his leg and moving closer. It stayed out for maybe 5 minutes. We left the restaurant about 8. We go home and both crash on the couch watching Tivo.

SATURDAY
Up early and he does some cleaning. We go to breakfast at Panera. I drive and I forgot my iPad. I take my computer from work to lesson plan only to realize I forgot the power cord at school. I caught up on Facebook on my phone instead.

We go back to his house and get our bag ready for a night out with his ex. Stopped at the outlets in the desert where we enjoy Banananana Republick. He's good friends with his exes parents and really helped him as he moved to California. We get to the hotel they are at and we check in for the night, I work on something for school, then we meet up with them. They were so welcoming of me and there was really no connection between Mike and his ex. They were cold toward each other. I was not ok meeting them at first, but sucked it up and did it. We chit chat on the patio and the learn about me and think I'm wonderful for Mike. They gave their seal of approval. Then we go with his ex, his ex's best friend, and his ex's sister to dinner. Told them about NY for Xmas and they thought Mike needed to take me to all the touristy stuff. As we were sitting at dinner at some bad bbq place in Palm Springs named after a pig I realize how much his ex seems like me. Look was somewhat alike, both are ambitious, both of us have indecisive patterns. Dinner was weird as he gets along so much better with the family than his ex. We go back to the hotel and drop them off. We then take a bus to the main hotel to get our drink on at the main hotel. Amaretto and coke, thanks.

We go back to the hotel room where Mike gives me a hard time about wanting to get a bath, but how can you refuse when you have a 2 person jacuzzi tub? We poured some wine, kissed, and sat holding each other in the tub, then made out, jacked each other off, and well, it was hot. I had a fun time. Mike felt dirty afterward and had to shower. He did. We went to bed on our small double bed. Mike first had to call and argue about the TV not working with the hotel staff- they swore it did and that people only watch DVDs on it... wtf?

SUNDAY
Up at 8 and relax in the room. We shower and head to a French cafe with french people and have crepes. Good stuff. Good service. We go to the Bananana Republick in PDesert and enjoy even more cheap stuff. We both spent about $400 at BR this weekend. We stop at the grocery store on the way back for wine and frozen pizza. I didn't mention that on Saturday we bought about $200 worth of wine at Ralphs. Eat pizza back at his house, doze, and watch Top Chef shows etc. For dinner we head out to Joann Fabrics first because he was looking at draperies. We then decide on Chilly's where we have some great service and great strong drinks. We ate lots! Back to his place where we both fell asleep about 10:30

MONDAY - HALLOWEEN
Work was alright. Head to Mike's about 3:15. Talk and catch up, he's laying on the couch. He does some work off and on in his office. I do the dishes and clean the stove while he does that. He makes spaghetti squash and chicken for dinner. The spaghetti squash was interesting. I fell asleep on the couch for about 10 minutes before we head to bed about 10.

TUESDAY
Up at 6:30 and off to work... long day at work... reconvened with the family.

Luke Bryan made my day

Got caught up on Tivo with my bf the other night and I couldn't help but notice how Ellen is like a giant promotion for groupon and Tide. That is all she seems to talk about- like "As the Tide Turns?" Giant ad for Tide cleverly disguised.

But the good thing about this one was I saw Luke Bryan's chest, and well, it was hot!

And I love the sound in this new song

Suction

FRIDAY

WHAT A WEEK... OMG... I HAD AN AWFUL WEEK. I was out 3 days due to jury duty and a conference. I was not happy. I came back and my kids were off the wall. I had to get out of school ASAP, but knew that I needed to do lots of planning during the weekend. I left at 3:30 and went straight to Mike's. He was working on his expense reports for work, so he did that until nearly 5:30 and I created 2 Powerpoints and my lesson plans for the week. It was productive and in an environment I was much less frustrated in. We spent some time chatting about our days, Adam Levine, and how we both assume he is gay despite him dating girls. Sure, part of the reason was to move like Jagger, but Mike is convinced after seeing him on Ellen the other day that it is not the case.

After, we head to the French restaurant we went on one of our first dates to. We had to spend at least $100 to use our restaurant.com gift certificate, so that meant imbibing on a nice $40 bottle of wine, a steak with shrimp, and he had a vegetarian deal. We spent about 2 1/2 hours at dinner- sit down, wine, dine, good stuff. Lots of talk about frustrations at work.

After dinner we head home and relax on the couch watching Ellen. We both fall asleep on the couch.

SATURDAY

We both wake up about 7:30 or 8. We shower and eat breakfast about 10 or so. We go to the dry cleaners to drop off our clothes, then go to Kohls to price vacuum cleaners. We also go to Target to look for clearance and don't find much. We went grocery shopping at Fresh & Easy, got a lot of squash, a cake for me to make. I went back to his place and made the cake- it didn't turn out well. We didn't have a cake for dessert as the center wouldn't cook even after an hour +. We had some leftover spaghetti that he made for dinner. We both fell asleep on the couch- we watch the Bravo Top Chef Desserts, Food Truck Race, and more.

SUNDAY

We woke up, showered, watched Anderson on Tivo, then ended up cuddling on the couch. He made an egg and bread for breakfast, but then we went back to cuddling. I laid up against him and on his lap for a while until we decided to move. We went to Kohls and Home Depot. We bought an LG vacuum at Home Depot since they price matched Sears saving him $75.

We went to Lake Arrowhead after. We walked around the village and ended up in a Mexican joint where we ate tortilla chips, tacos, and enchiladas. There wasn't much to see and I was disappointed not many of the trees were changing for fall. We went to a few more mountain communities while we were up there just to drive around and see what was there.

Back down in the city at his house we try out the vacuum and discover how disappointing it was since it doesn't suction well. We decide it has to go back. We have leftover spaghetti from the other night for dinner, then spend some time lesson planning.

MONDAY

Up at 6:15 since he had an early day. I had another awful day at work- a headache compounded with an observation, compounded by stress from testing, plus a few wacko kiddos.

At 3:30 I head home to get clothing and visit with my dad for about 30 minutes before turning around to get back at Mike's at 5:15. I come in, put my clothes in the closet, and he is showering. I go in the living room and text a coworker, Blondie, who was under the weather. Mike comes out dressed and we go to return the vacuum. We look at 2 Kohls for the new vacuum he wanted, but they didn't have it, and refused to match Walmart's price, so we give up. We go to Olive Garden for the never-ending pasta bowl for dinner. We enjoy chatting with the guy at the bar who encouraged me to get some pasta to go for lunch- that was nice. While at the bar he buys a vacuum online for less than what he would have paid in a department store.

We go back to his place and watch Desperate Housewives and Pan Am, and sort of doze on the couch.

We go to bed about 11. We brush our teeth and kiss each other good night. He's getting into the habit of saying "I love you" when we go to bed and he was so tired he didn't realize he didn't say it and 2-3 minutes after we went to bed he poked me and rolled over to kiss me so he could say it. Too sweet. I was the one that started saying it as we went to bed... lol.

TUESDAY

Back at work and more chaos...

Nature boys

WEDNESDAY
- Head over to Mike's after trying to leave my house for a while, but there was a lot going on
- We do dinner at BJs
- Big appetizer platter with the avocado things were yummy
- BJs didn't advertise their happy hour on their website, which was sad, and we paid full price for beers
- Stop at Target and browse
- Buy a cartful of clearance stuff that included more than 12 bottles of wine for less than $3 a piece. We looked like alcoholics and the slow checkstand lady was talking about how we were her new friends with all that wine.
- I get a moisturizer cream to appease Mike since my skin is always so dry and flaky (eew)
- Watch SYTYCD
- Bed about 11

THURSDAY
- Up about 7
- Shower
- He has some work stuff to work on
- Hang around until 12:30 or so watching TV and playing on my iPad
- Take off to get a haircut
- Head home because my dad calls to say it looks like I got some sort of concert tickets in the mail, and indeed I had. They were for some drummer I had never heard of, and would have taken advantage of them
- Head back to Mike's about 5, which was fine for him since he had a dentist appointment at 4
- Talk about what we've been up to in the past 5 hours or so
- Dinner was a spinach pasta he made with some yummy bread
- Watch SYTYCD and NY Housewives
- Bed about 1

FRIDAY
- Up at 7
- Shower
- Play around on iPads/iPhones/try to rebuild my iPhoto library
- He suggests we go somewhere since his friends canceled on dinner this weekend, which we had known about and been planning on for 3 weeks
- He asks where to go
- He asks what's in Visalia
- He asked if I still wanted to go up there
- I said we'll go to Visalia and then on to Sequoia National Park
- He agreed and booked a hotel, then car
- Talk to my parents and tell them where we're going... of course mommy is concerned that it is so last minute, that it is so far away, the usual.
- Pack real quick
- His neighbors are outside and we chat with them and he introduces me
- She is a former teacher and he is a firefighter- I knew that much- but it was cool to chat with them. She is about to go back to work, but with the economy, she was worried. She gave me some good info about good school districts.
- Head to the airport for our car rental, a Kia Soul. We had a lot of soul this weekend in it. It was like an awakening
- Head up 57 to the 210 to the 5. Slow traffic on the 5. He talks about a house he went to see in Santa Clarita when he first moved to Cali
- Shake and rattle... the car made lots of noises, which prompted Mike to hit various places with his hand to stop that. It would be a nice economical car for some people..............
- Go to the outlets in Tulare. Stop at Skechers and see nothing, but Mike suggests the Vans store... he doesn't own a pair of Vans. Shoes were buy 1 get 1 half off... and they had my lovely green shoes. Mike said I could get the half off pair and we would each get 1. He vetoed my green shoes saying "not with me around," but I got some blue jean fabric shoes. Should be fun...
- Head on to the hotel in Visalia
- Go to the Brewbaker Brewery that we had read a lot about on the internet... the brews were um... fruity and grainy. The beer was no bueno. Mike got the sampler platter and I got their sequoia red. We first had to wait 20 minutes for a table, then when we got the table it was upstairs, which looked like an old fashioned country restaurant and not a bar, which took away from the ambience. Oh, and screaming kids everywhere. The food was so-so.
- We talked about funerals as my mom wondered why I wasn't going to attend one with her on Saturday. We talked about difficult funerals, how he would rather go to a viewing than a funeral because he thinks funerals are for close family, but I argued the opposite that it was for anyone acquainted with the family as most that I have been to have been that way. He talked about how long it had been since he was at one, he asked how my grandma's funeral was and I told him about that whole situation with my aunt in Nor Cal. He told me he wants to be cremated and wants to make up a will shortly just in case he were to die and he made me think about how I want to be buried... lol... it was a morbid conversation.
- Head to Wal-Mart for antacid since he thought beer was giving him heartburn and how he was thinking he would have to start giving that up
- Go to the movie theater... that's the thing to do on a Friday night in Visalia
- See BAD TEACHER... she was a bad teacher... many inaccuracies in that movie that teachers would definitely be fired for... I watched it with a critical eye as I felt that with our previous conversations I'd have to defend the teaching profession, so I was watching it from that view
- Head back to the hotel where we watch the godawful Letterman with Lady Gaga and snack on Chips Ahoy
- Then we fool around and it was a lot of fun tickling and more
- We fall asleep about 1:15

SATURDAY
- Up at 8:30
- Shower
- Gas up the car... small tank in it
- Head to Panera
- Panera was waaaaay out of the way... like 5 miles and the nav gave us a crazy route to get there
- Head to Sequoia and talk about the beautiful scenery and a teacher I used to have/my former boss who lived on the outskirts of the park
- Sequoia was a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG windy road and Mike was crazy with those turns. He told me to look at the yellow line as he drove and asked if I was doing ok
- Saw the worlds largest trees. See pic below

- Get lost on a path... well... not lost... just out of our way thanks to his supposed expertise in sign reading... now had we gone my way we would have been back at the car sooner as I'm an expert sign reader, but I got my exercise... a good mile walk
- Take lots of photos in the trees and Mike basically took over camera duties, which was fine
- Drove through the park and tried to stop at their lodges for a drink, but they all closed at 2 or 2:30, and it was 2:40... boo! Would have been nice to sip a beer or something there...
- Played in the snow at the 7,000 foot level. First he took pics of me playing and told me to make it look like I was throwing a snowball at him, and I couldn't resist, and had to throw one. I hit him in the leg pretty nicely. He threw one at me, but it didn't hit me, and he didn't throw it as hard. Hey... lol... I didn't know.

- Go out the other side of the park- the Fresno side
- Drive to Fresno
- Make a few comments about how those cows would look so good cooked, which I got hit for
- Stop at a Starbucks in Downtown Fresno, have a passoin tea, play on our iPads
- Look for hotels or something to do
- Paso Robles was 2 hours away
- Lots of bad, expensive hotels
- Go down the 99
- Look for food in Bakersfield and find a basque restaurant... google it... find out it is a cuisine of some Spanish/French people in the Pyrranes Mountains and they're very isolated. The food was family style it said
- Drive into big industrial area
- Food starts off pretty well with bread, cabbage soup, hot sauce. More food comes- salad with some sort of meat, tomatoes. Next course was our entree- I chose tri-tip and he got a fish. Fries, Baked beans, and green beans came with that. Dessert was almond fudge ice cream. TOOOOOO MUCH FOOD, but the first few courses were good. We want to try a basque restaurant here in the IE now.
- Leave restaurant at 9 and let Heather, the nav system, guide us home
- She leads us out the 58 to the 14 to the 138 to the 15 and then back into the IE... we got the scenic route
- Back at 12am
- Watch TV a little

SUNDAY
- I always wake up about 6 and then doze/fall back asleep... I did and Mike got up or made some real loud noise to wake me up and I flung myself out of bed/out of my sleep about 8:30
- He handles a few things he has to do while I shower
- Go to Jamba Juice for oatmeal and Starbucks for a passion tea
- Mike talks about all of the sugar in that and I reassure him that it is ok... oh... and it is artificial sugar... lol
- We drive up to Idyllwild just to see what there is to see... long way in and a lot of dry brush... definitely not the Yosemite of Southern California like their website says, so we pass through quickly. Touristy town as Mike termed it.
- We head down the 74 and into Hemet
- Stop at Chilis for a margarita and onion straws
- Mike says he wants to try to get to Palm Desert via the 74, so I direct him and tell him how to get there
- He tries to argue with me that I didn't tell him we have to drive back through Idyllwild, but I did, at least twice
- He said he wanted to take the 79 to get there and he didn't want to do the 74. I informed him you can't get there
- So we do the 37 mile trek to Palm Desert, and it was scenic. We stopped a couple times at lookout points to get pictures of the Palm Springs/Palm Desert valley... it was a nice triP

- End up at El Paseo and his favorite Banana Republic where we both do about $100 in damage each on winter clearance (SWEATERS!)
- Walk across the street to our favorite seafood place for another margarita, mussels, and crab cakes. It was sooooo delish!!! The margarita was a bit salty, which was hard to drink at first, but the food was good, as usual
- Head back to his place
- Watch our Sunday night favs like Housewives of NJ, Watch What Happens Live (poor Vicki!)
- Eat a cookie from the batch we got at Fresh & Easy the other day
- Bed about 10:30
- Watch Frasier until we fall asleep

MONDAY
- Up at 7:15
- The light was shining in my face a way that made me have to face the opposite way of Mike and he tried to run his hand through the light to create a shadow to get me to turn to see what mischief he was causing
- Shower
- He has some work to do and I play with my computer and the cat. Apply for yet another job.
- Stop at Starbucks as we prepare to take the car back to the airport
- Car to airport
- Listen to Rosie talk about the Building 7 conspiracy with the World Trade Center. Gonna check that out. Mike knew about it being that he's from that area and heard Rosie talk about it for years
- DRive around his neighborhood looking at the houses in the middle of nowhere, and the school in the middle of nowhere, literally
- Take off about 12:15 to reunite with the family and my mom isn't even home! She was the one who wanted to see me, but she's out lunching with the teachers

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Here kitty, kitty

MONDAY
- 3:30pm I arrive at Mike's after helping mi madre at school and picking up my sister's car
- We get in the car almost immediately to go to Fresh & Easy
- In parking lot we circle a few times to find a spot- there were plenty open... lol
- Get lots of veggies and random pastas... he kept telling me to "get stuff" and I argued I needed inspiration if I were to make something
- I enjoy a 56g of sugar strawberry lemonade from a bottle as we leave... sugar high!
- In the car we break open the baked salted chips since I was starved
- We eat stuffed mushrooms we bought from the clearance and a $1.64 margharita pizza, which was quite good
- Watch "The Glee Project" since it recorded where we thought Rocco's Dinner Party was... he started to Tivo it... grrr
- Watch a few more Tivo items
- Mike makes a salad with asparagus, lettuce, and fake chicken for our meatless Monday... it didn't exactly taste like chicken
- Talk about his need for a kitty
- Lots of tickling and cuddling
- Watch Gordon Ramsey's Masterchef, Two and a Half Men, and How I Met Your Mother
- Bed about 10

TUESDAY
- Up at 7:30
- Shower
- He works on his expense reports
- I make each a slice of toast
- Watch TV and play around on iPad
- Crunch on a few baked cheese puffs
- He teases the cats about needing another cat, a brother, a sister, or even a dog
- He asked if my sister called to say she missed me or anything like that and I said no, she's not that nice. He laughed. He asked if she was upset I had her car and I said daddy was more than willing to let her use his, so on the whole, no. He didn't look at the damage that was mostly able to be buffed out from my sister's supposed spin out because it didn't look bad from afar. I told him you have to get up close and if you were to open the doors on the car on the right side they now make a bad sound as you open them. He said I'm just to hard on her. Her car needed shocks in the front I mentioned and how she didn't know, he said I'm just being hard on her because she's a girl. LOL. He thinks I'm abusive toward her... lol... he said it playfully.
- We go to lunch at Subway
- The workers are making several 3 foot long party subs and it takes forever... we got there in time, though, as the people were still trying to get their food that came in after us as we were leaving
- Go to Petsmart and look at the little kittens... no cat carrier in the convertible... he did have the cat carrier out this weekend when he texted me on Sunday about being at Petsmart
- We leave Petsmart after he admires, oohs, and aaahs at the cats
- He tells me how he needs a chihuahua to take with us... it could travel with him... it could sit in the center console as we drive in the convertible. I told him it was a dumb chihuahua who would bark at everything as we go by. He said he would get a muzzle. I questioned if he, the animal rights activist would really do that. I said it would probably try to jump from the car and break its leg. He talked about how it wouldn't jump up high to eat the cat's food, it would play with the cats, its so much smaller than the cats. I said his antisocial cat wouldn't like it. I said the antisocial cat didn't need a friend. He said he thinks a little kitten would bring out the motherly instincts in it. I pretty much vetoed, but told him how cute he was when he talked about how he wanted one. Back at his place he tries to show me the chihuahua online, but couldn't find it.
- So to get or not to get a kitty... or a chihuahua... hmmmmmmmmmmm... we shall see... he has 2 cats already... he likes them since they take care of themselves... should I give in? I just don't want to be with the crazy cat guy... lol... and it could well become that... hahaha... he's cute
- Take off at 3:30
- Meet family at 4 for allergy shots
- Dad makes steak at home... yummmm
- Hit the gym tonight and run into Jack Off Buddy's boyfriend, the counselor from school where I did my student teaching and get to talk to both, which was nice.
- Relaxing at home getting recipe inspiration

Look who I found

Rachel Boesing!

Who knew she rollerskated?

Glad to see her post Today in LA.
