I try to be pleasantly surprised when they want to hang out with me after the initial encounter...or hope to be. But good for you for reaching for more then just a friends with benefits deal. His loss.

What a weird text. Anyways, as other have said, definitely his loss.
Then why does he always seem to get things on with you? That sucks... I guess I don't get it, especially with the things you guys do.
I'd say don't write him off completely. There's more to a relationship than sexual compatibility, and if you feel you two click around other things than maybe it's worthwhile to talk with him about your feelings. Part of that conversation would have to be asking what he wants and enjoys from sex, and you disclosing what you want and need. It might end up that you're not compatible, but it might end up that by being more intentional and open about these things you find that you can meet each other's needs.
